RE: Two More Montgomery Men
Michelle,

Thank you for the heads up. I am sure they are related, but at this point I don't know how exactly. More research is needed.

Thank you so much for finding her burial place. Her mother Sallie Tingle was a grandmother of my husband. Thanks for the good work! Frances Snider.

RE: Infant Montgomery/Morris Cemetery
Thanks again Michelle. I'm guessing the memorials are from a book or something. In any case, I'm grateful for the marker photos as I will never get to see them in person.

James Montgomery marker photo
Michelle,

Thank you very much for taking the marker photo of my 4th great grandfather, James Montgomery!

I was wondering if I could have your permission to use the photograph on my blog and family trees. I would, of course, give you full credit for the photograph.

Thank you for your consideration and for the lovely photo!

Hi Michelle!! Clara's headstone has been added to her memorial!! Glad to help anyway I can! Please feel free to use the images on your public tree.... I also found a Madeline M Jennings, Daughter of Clara Boelens, Feb 13 1916 - May 29 1994 in the same location as the Emiel and Clara stone. Madeline's is a ground marker... if you create the memorial, I will add the photo!!!

Virginia
RE: Pickett Cemetery
Yes, I have visited this cemetery several times, the first being in 1981 when it was already in very bad condition--most stones down or missing. It was/is located on a private farm owned then by the Mesmer family and is located 1/2 mi east of Bethel, MO and is north off the road about 250 yds. The cemetery was originally on the Sanford Pickett farm (which later belonged to his son, Hiram Pickett)--the house was still there in 1981 but has since been torn down and a new house built there. The owners had long ago removed the iron fence that the family had put up around the cemetery and had allowed cattle to roam there so I think there is little left to see now. Would you mind telling me whose burial place you are looking for?

PS: Forgot to tell you that I think we are related only by marriage. Linda Sue Moore married Lawrence Robert Nelson. Linda's grandmother Hazel May Pulse is my 4th cousin twice removed. I, however, don't draw any lines--we are all related aren't we? :-) Pam

Michelle,
I've transferred management of Doris Yvonne and Lavern to you. I am related, but not blood related to them. I am Mary Lou's sister's daughter. I was did not make it to the funeral and this was my way I could pay tribute.
