After further research, I believe that William Hibler's wife was Arabella Miller, born 26 Dec 1828. Their children were: Martha, Malinda, William Edward (1857-1918), Lydia Eliza, Nancy, and Silas. I think the confusion came because a man named Thomas Hibler was the Justice of Peace that married Arabella Williams and William Mattocks. If you could please correct this, I would appreciate it.

Thank you

Arabella Williams
According to the family bible of Charles & Elizabeth (Colbert) Williams, Arabella was born Sept 20, 1828. Is there evidence that this Arabella is Arabella Williams Mattocks.

Isom Brewer
Hello Maureen, I noticed your submittal of Isom Brewer at the wright cemetery of Dent co. Mo. I visited that cemetery today and seen his stone. What do you know about his death? It has me very interested since it's Civil War era. Thanks, Garrett Gabel

RE: old bonhomme pres
I went out to visit my parents and happened to see the sign on the road... I think they do it several times a year. I am sure the main office could let you know.

I was able to get into the old stone church yard because they were having an open house... and found several of the stone for people that you had recently added to to this cemetery...

Just wanted to let you know.

RE: Emeline LaMothe Harrison
I am not directly related to her, but indirectly to the Harrison family. I am a direct descendant of Rev. Peter Cartwright, the famous old fire and brimstone preacher. His daughter married Peyton Harrison -- then came Peachy Harrison -- who was married to Emeline. Do you know the story of Peachy? I have it on F-A-G, it's extremely interesting. I got Emeline's photo from a Harrison descendant who is no longer alive. I also got a couple of other photos which I will have to dig out, they are not of Emeline though. This lady sent me a little info on this side of the family but very much.

I went to the cemetery today. Buried next to Hannah was an Arthur Lantz. Their marker matched, so I posted his also just in case there was a connection.

RE: Martha and Squire Case
Maureen, yes, I meant James, not John. Wouldn't mind seeing a photo of Warren's wife, what was her maiden name? Thanks, Garrett

RE: Martha and Squire Case
Maureen, If you have a photo of John Galaspy Case I'd love to have a copy via e-mail. Since he was a Yancy Mills area resident, he was interviewed as many folks were in the Wright family murder investigative hearings in 1866. Thank you, Garrett Gabel

RE: Martha and Squire Case
Maureen, I apologize, I didn't realize that there were three Squire Cases' in Phelps county! I added Martha's husband on the Yancey cemetery site. I plan to walk into that area again this coming winter when the foliage is down and try to read the one fieldstone that appears to have an engraving. Regards, Garrett Gabel

RE: Martha and Squire Case
Hello Maureen, Isn't Squire buried at Beulah cemetery? I'd have to check to be sure. I have a very strong suspicion that Martha is buried at the old Yancey cemetery Refer to my submittals as to that cemetery. You don't happen to have a photo of Joseph W. Case do you? Would love to have one! Regards, Garrett Gabel

Helen Jones
Sorry to be so long getting back to you, Maureen, regarding your question about Helen Jones' identity. I've been traveling and have been in contact with family about her identity. Helen Jones is Lucile [Jones] Manion's sister. So, she was Peter John Manion's sister-in-law, not his sister. I am thinking that since she buried with her sister, she belongs in the virtual cemetery I am putting together for the family. I will contact Susan Ing, as you suggest. Again, thank you for all that you do! Susan

Thank You, Maureen!
You're a peach to transfer Lucile's memorial so quickly! I am hoping you'll be going out to the cemetery today and can take those photos. It was very kind of you to offer, and I hope you liked reading Peter's updated memorial and seeing all the new links! Bye for now, Susan
