Thanks for checking on these, Glo. I LOVE the photo showing there is no headstone - now other folks will know and not do a photo request. That is brilliant, I hope others copy the idea.

Find A Grave# 76922051. Hi, My ancestor George Fisher 1826-1881 has been a brick wall for me. I have been trying to find his parents for years. Wondering if the cemetery records show any other information. George and his wife Elizabeth Shaffer lived in Northumberland Boro in the 1850 census, beside her parents Shaffer. Thank you for any assistance you can provide. Karen #47003050

Hi! I am a descendant of (William) James Merrill & Nancy (Waldron) Merrill through their son, Augustus. I've been making a lot of progress on this family through newspaper research tonight!
I didn't know when Caroline (b 1852) died, but I assumed she died young. And, I didn't know when Anna Maria (Merrill) Snay died. I see you have their exact dates! I'm thrilled!
Can you tell me where you got these dates from? Are their headstones or cemetery records?
I love what your doing with this cemetery. Thanks so much for posting these!

I am the great niece of John Heckman's mother, Katherine Nitterhouse Heckman. Are you related to John?
If you are related, I am wondering if you have an obit for him that you could share with me. I do not have a brother William for John on my ancestry.com tree, though he could have been born after 1940 and I have a Henry, but not a Guy. And I have Elizabeth as sister Jean's middle name. I am hoping my dad's cousins can answer the questions about Guy and William.
I put edits in to link John to his parents and to correct his mother's maiden name.

Further Googles showed that Mount Carmel had been changed to Wildwood. I was hoping my wife's relatives weren't all dug up and re-interned at Wildwood!
Anyway, the record is what it is at this point.
Thanks again, when I update my Ancestry account records I'll just start including @ Wildwood, formerly Mount Carmel I reckon.
Have a great New Years.

I know that the Grit reported he was buried in the Mount Carmel cemetery, but I just took pictures of his headstone in the Wildwood Cemetery.

I am adding tombstone pictures to Schenck's cemetery in Howard. There are two pictures of Sam which leaves no room for a gravestone picture. Can you take one of them down? Thanks

|Ron Clees||Dora M. Clees Koch|
Sorry, I missed her memorial when searching yesterday. Her first husband was Lawrence Clees #110534669. He is buried at Montoursville cemetery. Dora's name and birth year is on his headstone(you took the photo). I'll put in an edit. That way it will explain the "Clees" in her obit. Thanks for all those memorials.
