Thanks!
Linda, thanks so much for linking Mark Jefferson Lindsey (m. Samantha Alfadonia Holland) to his parents Mark Jefferson Lindsey and Mary Ann Harrison.

Thanks, too, for your offer to manage his memorial. I'd be happy to do that. But if you're a descendant of Mark's and prefer to keep the page under your own management, I'd understand that, too.

I'm grateful to you.

Mark J. Lindsey, Carolina Cemetery, Bienville Psh., LA
Linda, thank you for the memorial for Mark Jefferson Lindsey, who's buried in the Carolina Cemetery in Bienville Psh., LA.

Would it be possible, do you think, to link Mark's memorial page to those of his parents? His parents are Mark Jefferson Lindsey (Sr.) and Mary Ann Harrison. They're buried at the Old Chapel Cemetery in Red River Psh.

The two memorial numbers for them are 76510800 and 76510988.

Thanks for considering this request, and thanks for the memorial for Mark J. and his wife Samantha Alfadonia Holland.

What does "Wed Mar 27, 1945" mean on the memorial? It is written before the children's names.

RE: Rodgers, Rogers
You have the correct spelling, as far as I know, it was changed by my grand farther, at the time of my dads, and uncel's birth. But Thomas Jefferson Rodgers is my GG grand father. I will try to see if I can link Croley Thomas Rogers, to Thomas Jefferson Rodgers in find a grave.

Thanks for the interest

Hi! We have a picture with the grave info now and it looks like the initial is a "Q" rather than an"O". Check it out for yourself and see if you agree. Happy hunting, Tommye

Please note that birth and death year are the same, since she was an adult, this must be a typo.

RE: John D Anderson
You are so welcome...I do the same thing about wondering what happened, what were they like alive? A lot of times the obituary can be a treasure of information, helpful to ancestor hunters, so I see where they can serve a purpose that way as well. I like to pass them along to the contributor who made the memorial and let them use their descretion on whether they like to include them. Some don't, but I am glad you do. I appreciate you, Linda! I wish you well, maybe one day our paths will cross in some country cemetery!

RE: creel family
My exhusband's family was from Bibb Co. I always thought that the Winn Parish bunch would be tied to them. Just never looked for connection. A couple of my aunts had furniture made by the Winn Parish bunch. I have just started looking into that family as I am trying to find a family tie. My email address is mssilturq@yahoo.com. Would like to correspond. Cindy

Hello,

To answer your question, I do not know who his wife was. Perhaps, if you haven't done this already, you can contact the cemetery to see if they have this information.
