RE: Thank you
You are welcome. You also requested Emil Soest. I found Mary's grave which was right near Margaret's with a name stone of Soest. It may be possible that Emil does not have one. Greenlawn Memorial will not tell me but you may be able to get the information from them if you would like to call, 260-432-3914. They cite the "Privacy Act" and will only tell family. Barb

Re: Ferber
Sorry the photos are so dark, this is under a tree. I will attempt to reshoot these next week, earlier in the day.

Hiram Tavenner
If you go to the Cordova, IL library website,, then go to cemetery records, and then T, you will find a photo of his tombstone and his obit. There are other Tavenner's there too.

RE: Ice
You are so welcome. I only live a few miles from both of these cemeteries so it was not a problem at all. I added memorials and pictures for Daniel Ice and Edna Cohagan in the Aborville Cemetery and linked them to their spouses. I could not find anything for Cora Cohagan in the North Blue Cemetery. If I read the "linking" information correctly, her parents are buried in the Polk Cemetery. I checked there this evening and didn't find anything there either.

The Cohagans are buried next to Emma J Coons. I'm not sure if she is a sister of one of them...

I have filled the photo request for William J. Prough. I also left a photo for his wife Amanda, Peter, Matilda, and Stephen Prough. I added a memorial for W.L. "Les" Prough. If W.L. Prough is part of your family and you want me to transfer the memorial just let me know.

Allen Co IN tombstones
I added a photo for Joseph Gerig. The dates on the stone do not match the dated in the memorial page. Also Joseph is spelled wrong on the memorial page

Photographed both Melvin & Charles, then went to Office to find out about two unmarked graves on either side. One belongs to a Marie Hellman who died on 23 Jan 1935 and was interred on 26 Jan 1935 (I'll set up and transfer her memorial to you). There was a Clara C Hellman who purchased the three lots in 1928, however the cemetery has no record of her being buried there. The other unmarked grave was unrelated. Is it possible Marie & Clara are one and the same ?
