Howdy - your USMC R.I.P. note for the above memorial will disappear when the memorial is deleted because it is a duplicate. The original memorial is 23562106 should you wish to place another note. Mike Weeks

Coy D. Harris
Hi.

I just wanted to let you know that Coy D. Harris, my grandfather, had 3 children. One child, Dale, is buried next to him. My father and aunt, Robert Vernon and Elizabeth, are still living. I hope that this information is helpful!

Idol Cemetery/Mount Pleasant Church Cemetery
Hey R.D.,

You and James Cope have duplicated several memorials. I think you are working on the same cemetery but with different names. You have it as the Idol Cemetery, and he has it as the Mount Pleasant Church Cemetery.
I noticed this when I was working on Theopolis Shockley. You have the same dates and pictures of the same headstone, but listed under different Cemetery names. I checked a few other names in both cemeteries and found more duplicates.
I am leaving a similar message for James.
Thanks for your efforts in Grainger County!

Civil War soldiers
Thanks for the photo of Reuben Hutson. It is perfect and will make it easier for him to get on the registry at ETHC. In my search for Civil War soldiers in Grainger Co. I have seen so many photos of soldiers you have taken and posted in the past. You are a wonderful resource for anyone with an interest in the people of that county.

Frye Cem
Thanks so much, from the bottom of my heart for getting the Frye Cem ! I went over there back in the Summer, but wasn't able to locate it. Later on in Sept, I was told that it was right past the newer cem, and I hadn't gotten the opportunity to go back there yet. You are a true life saver !

Thank you so much. I have just started in Grainger Co., and am not very deep into it. I will search for those men. I cannot thank you enough. I am in a meeting this Thursday at ETHC to find out what have and what they need to find in Grainger Co. I so appreciate you taking the time to help in this way.

RE: Civil War soldiers
I just realized the soldier you sent me was from Grainer Co. which I have just begun to research. I hope to be finished with Claiborne co. this weekend. There, I have found 93 Union soldiers with photos on Find a Grave and 63 Union soldiers without grave photos, so you can see why I was so happy to get even one more photographed.

The Confederates are completed but not counted. After I finish there I will look at Grainger Co. This is my volunteer work for this year.

Civil War soldiers
Thank you so much for the photographs of these Civil War soldiers. I will see that they get included in their applications for registry of Civil War graves of Claiborne Co. Tn. at the East Tennessee History Center. Having a photograph of the graves greatly increases their inclusion "In Death Not Divided Tombstone Survey and Burial Places of East Tennessee Civil War soldiers." It takes hours to find them and complete their applications and having these photos has just made my day.

Hi RDH
I just finished the Bio for Erasmus Quincy Beck, and received a big surprise. While I was writing his bio, you had added flowers to his memorial. I just found direct descendants of him. They are not on Find A Grave yet, but as soon as they are I have a lot of transferring to do.

I hope this finds you and family in best of health.
Have a very Merry Christmas.

Audrey
