You have the wrong Taylor his memorial is 57472154 so you should remove this menorila along with the wrong Hiram memorial. The correct memorial for Hiram is HIRAM SNAPP, 84431650 Mary is 89564102
Your History is mostly correct you just have the wrong grave site.

Apparently there is a duplicate in regards to a family member. I did not originally do the memorial for my distant cousin but it was transferred to my care. Would it be possible for you to delete your memorial of this member of my family. If not, thanks for your consideration.

RE: Loretta Dipley Slaughter
That is such a good question. I have not researched this line in a while. Oatman was Loretta's mother's maiden name. Ida Francis Oatman was the daughter of William Henry Oatman and Matilda Jane Ashby. Our research shows many children for Ida, with different father's. Here is an obit for Ida:

JOPLIN GLOBE,
Tuesday, Sept 23, 1959 page 7A col 2
Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Frances Oatman Copher, 88 years old, Joplin route 4, who died Sunday morning will be conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the Steve Parker chapel. The Rev. Paul A. Clanton will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery. Pallbearers will be Otis Rush, Cecil Cagle, Bob Hill, Ralph Tucker, Neil Swindle and Johnson. Mrs. Copher was in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Loretta Slaughter, 848 Brown avenue, when she suffered a stroke followed by her death. Born August 5, 1871, in Fulton county, Illinois, Mrs. Copher had lived in the Joplin area for about 80 years.
Surviving in addition to the daughter in whose home she died, are two other daughters, Mrs.
Dorothy Napper, 1019 Indiana avenue, and Mrs. John Rowe, Joplin route 4; three sons. Red A. Copher, 520 North Main street, Benny Copher of Joplin route 1, and Emmett Montgomery, whose address is not known; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

I updated the memorial and changed the dates. I made a note at the bottom of the memorial. Thanks.

Hi, Thank you for the additional information. I'm working on them this morning. I have a question about this memorial. The bio you sent has his date of birth as 1859 but his stone has 1877. I don't have a problem when they're only off a year or 2, I just make a note in the bio section, but 18 years is a lot. I will hold off on this one until I hear back from you. Thanks. Kelly

If you have any information about this dentist's family, from Indiana, I would appreciate it, thank you. If not, thanks for the picture online, it helps with my family search.

So Long
I am sorry, but due to repeated denial of (reasonable) transfer requests and mean-spirited replies, sadly, I will soon be dismantling my site.
It will take me awhile, as I need to find a family member who I feel will continue the page in the spirit that I've managed it with.
I will continue to respond to correction suggestions and transfer requests until then. I've made many Dear Friends on this site. But in all honesty, I can no longer carry on with this work. Enough is enough.

Catching Up
Hello. Mark Brock here. Just wanted to say hello and see if you remembered me. For You see, I took a direct hit from the 22 May, 2011 Joplin MO E-F5 Tornado. To be honest, I didn't think I was going to make it back from the event. I've been offline 'til now.
Anyway, again, hope you are well. You've helped me on more than one occasion and I appreciate it. I'm especially proud of the memorial I created today for my 3rd great-Grandfather, James Brock. You might peruse it, should you stop by my site. Take care.
