RE: BBQ
The place they started, Munger Moss is still in operation as Elbow Inn & BBQ. Really good food! Howard and Nelle moved to lebanon after the four lane 66 came through Hooker and opened a restaurant and the famous Munger Moss Hotel. That hotel is still in business as well.

RE: Moss
I was researching Howard Munger and Nelle Moss in regards to their famous Route 66 BBQ joint in Devils Elbow. Would you happen to have have any information on that to share?

Umberto DiCicco
Hello -

I see you added a listing recently - Holy Cross Cemetary, Malden, MA - Umberto DiCicco - son of Antonia and Domenico DiCicco.

This is a family memeber I never knew about - could you drop me a line when you get a chance - I would really liek to know where you got this info. It is very exciting for my family.

Gratefully,

John DiCicco

RE: McCarthy
It did not, but no need to retry. And I do thank you for trying. But if you have any information on where his wife Honora Lawton McCarthy is buried, that would be a big help. She died 21 Aug 1873, Boston and is probably with hubby John, but I can't find it. Dick

John McCarthy # 103176539
Are John & Hanora confirmed as John's parents? My tree shows Patrick and Ellen; but it's a very old file and I'm unable to confirm it at this time. But neither can I find John & Hanora with a son John in Fed census records - although I may be missing something (been known to do that). Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Trust you had a great holiday season. Dick Finnick

RE: Creekpaum
Thank you - I'm assuming the stone is close to the large stone that was almost destroyed by vandals a few years back and then was repaired by a very benevolent party. I think it had an Angel on it. There's no hurry to check on stone. I do appreciate your efforts.

Edward J Smith
Tierney grave at Holy Cross
thank you for your post. The first burial in the lot was in 1875, the last one in 1948. Our family, representing the only surviving grandchild of John and Annie (Leonard) Tierney, is in the process of erecting a long-overdue headstone.

Do you remember what part of the cemetery Irving O. Creekpaum was buried when you took photo? Stone is quite worn. Believe he is son of Thomas Jefferson Creekpaum and Elizabeth A. Fann. My dad is buried there, so thought I would visit the gravesite when I visit the cemetery. I am a distant cousin on the Fann side. Elizabeth died before 1890 and Thomas Jefferson Creekpaum died in 1919 in Ft. Smith, AR. Thanks Wanda
