RE: Melinda Jane Ather Colby
I took all the Colby's I saw but that is not to say I couldn't have missed it. The cemetery is right on the main street. It is on Route 100 right in the middle of Waterbury.

Lynn J. Gauthier
Idah Wilbur & family

Have added photos in response to your photo request for Idah Wilbur. In addition I added photos for her husband & son Waldron. They are all buried in the same lot. The flat grass marker in the foreground of the photo showing the "Wilbur" monument is the marker for Waldron.

Hope this helps

Best regards,

Hi Susan,

There is one large marker on this plot: Olin Clyde Tucker. I've set up a memorial page for him with a picture 120126786. Let me know if you want him transferred to you. Also, if you ever need additional information on a City of Grand Rapids cemetery, please see their website:

I'm so glad you got that figured out. GOOD JOB!
Isn't amazing what a grave marker and an obit can lead you to?

I checked the Esther buried in the cemetery she is married to a James but going by the dates they would be his parents ages.
I don't know that he was married twice only that he isn't buried with Esther. I guess you will have to do some investigating. I would try to find his obit because this might not be your Benton.

I added photos for who I guess is second wife Dorothy W to her memorial page.
There is a Esther buried in another section of the cemetery I will check her to see if it is a single grave.

Robert E Merritt / Lori Camp Merritt
Ather family
Hi, Susan,

I am Lori Merritt. You sent a message thru Carole to connect with us about the Ather family. I am the one with the relations. Sadly I don't have alot of info.
My mother, Janice, was born to George and Flora Ather in '38. Older brother is Paul and younger brother is Alan. Mom was about 5-6 yrs old when divorce broke the family. She didn't have any contact from then on.
I know a little of lineage only from what I have obtained through
Mom did attend an Ather family reunion but it was once and quite a few years ago. She has made contact with her half-sister, Sandy, who lives in Kansas.
To bring closure, I took mom to see her fathers' grave (located in TN). Her Ather grandparents, Joseph and Ida, are buried in VT (same cemetery as her Willis grandparents).
Sorry, I don't have a ton of information for you. I hope we can stay in touch.
Take care and have a blessed day. :)

Everret Aller's father was 1/2 brother to my husbands great grandfather Richard Aller. I've done a lot of the familytree

RE: Ather
Hello Susan the best way to get a hold of Robert E Merritt / Lori Camp Merritt (#47513426) is to send a Suggest a correction at the memorial in question and see if they reply back. and if i did transfer them over only means they also claimed relationship to them.

RE: Bertha Louise Thompson
Hmmm, not sure if this could be the Bertha Thompson that is in the old Inglewood Mausoleum. If you are referring to Memorial #63332112, I can ask at the office if they have a middle name for her, but on the plaque it has "E" rather than "L".

Please let me know if this is the Bertha you are referring to. I will gladly add more information to this memorial, if this is the correct person.

Best Regards,

RE Perkins family
Would you tell me the Parents & Grand-Parents, etc. Maine & Vermont are very close. I would not rule it out, that is for sure. David had many siblings and children, and his Son Henry had at least three wifes that we know about!
Thanks = Glenda

RE: Perkins family
All our Perkin's that we have been able to document have their roots in Maine. We have not been able to trace farther than David & Sarah Perkins, buried in Gould Cemetery. We have had no success in finding David's Father as yet. We just keep searching!
