I don't believe that she is linked to the correct spouse. Walter Hines' spouse was Frances Perkins. Debbie

Kindly remove the "virtual flower" (at this memorial), about the identity of the cemetery - as I've moved the record - following your discovery. THANKS!

Nell, thank you so much for the attempt to get a picture of Ginny Harvel's gravestone. I was afraid it might be too overgrown to find it but I really appreciate your trying. And I thank you for the obituary you posted. I did not have it and am happy to have it. I am among the others who appreciate your good work.

RE: Josie Maness
No problem. I was just wondering if the owner of the memorial had somehow deleted it. Big problems there.

Did you actually add a photo? If so, it's gone.

Yes, I have already had a conversation with the other contributor and we are deciding who is going to take theirs down. I informed them they had wrong cemetery.I requested they move theirs to correct cemetery and copy, paste the obit from my memorial and I would delete mine when done.

Clarence J. DILLION
Pretty work!! I think that one is solved. Somewhere in my Eula Mae McNutt notes, she was well known for her genealogy in Scott county, it says or she told me E.F. was trying to pass himself off as being only 60, I guess so it would be more respectable. Good luck in your searches. THANKS! Joe

Clarence J. DILLION
Hello Nell- Joe Dillion working on Scott county VA. Cleaning up the Nickels/Tyree in England Valley where I just recently found my g-grandmother's stone, Louisa Tyree Dillion. My reason for writing is I know my g-grandfather's third wife's name was Hattie J. Harris. What I know: Harriet "Hattie" J. Harris born 30 July 1860 of Tazewell county was married to William J. Lewis on 24 July 1879 in Lee county. He was the son of Jordan and Elizabeth Lewis of Lee county and she was the daughter of John P. and Matilda Harris according to 1870 census living in VA with daughter Harriet J.

My great grandfather, Elisha F. DILLION married Harriet "Hattie" Harris on 30 June 1911, one year after the death of William J. Lewis. My conjecture and it fits that he was known to be 69 and married a "Hattie" who was 51 in 1911, is one and the same.
E.F. Dillion memorial # 85599754. Wondering how you might feel about this connection.
