Do have Pic where the old church is. I possible. That where my G-Grand mother is at. I wish they can make Maker that can add a name to it. For people that have DC saying that person is buried there like mine G-Grand mother.

Hi David,

I was wondering if you remember where the information on her page, "Daughter of William McKinney & Elizabeth Smith McKinney" came from? Was there a cemetery record book that had that information. I have only found one other record that listed William McKinney's wife as Elizabeth Smith, so would like to have a second source. Thanks!

Sincerely,
Jeff

The cemetery has him listed as Lykes, Sec. R, Lot 96, space 3. The other 3 graves hold 3 Sloans, 2 Jesse's and Mary.

I will transfer this to you if you would like.

Let me know.

The cemetery website does not list him or his parents. You might want to call them.

Oma Hemson
Hi David, How are you tonight? I tried to get a photo of the tombstone for Oma and the person wrote me and said the cemetery office has no record of this person in their cemetery. You might want to check this again. Patty

McClanahan/Throckmorton/Lykes
Hi David,

I wonder if you could confirm something for me. Is Martha McClanahan Reed the daughter of Josie Throckmorton and Joseph Howard McClanahan?

I'm a Heath and if I'm on the right track, Josie's grandmother was a Heath.

Thank you, in advance, for any hints!

My great great great great grandparents are Andrew Thomas Likes and Winnie McKinney Likes. My ggggg are Malachia Likes and his wife Margaret Flemming Likes. I see that you have Margaret and her mother "Betsy" in the Haden Adams Graveyard. I am so excited about your account of who Betsy was, as I was stuck at that point. My questions of you are:
1. Do any headstones exist or are the all gone in this cemetery? I would so like to see any of the memorials that might exist.
2. Is there any chance Margaret Fleming Likes' husband Malachai Likes is also interrened there?
We do not know much about where Malachia came from of where he was buried.
