Jewish Translations
Can you read Hebrew? If so (and you are really, really bored....) take a look at those memorials at Ahavath Achim that have no names:
Can you make out any names or dates, please send me an edit? Thank You

RE: Edit Question
If Millstein was her maiden name, then I will put that in and keep Wayne as her middle name - as on her headstone - and until we know differently.

Thanks for clarification - will update that now.
Enjoy your afternoon!

Edit Question
Hello, you sent me an edit for the maiden name of Frances Shatanoff - suggesting Millstein Wayne.

Please explain - Wayne as maiden name or Millstein ?
Is one of the names a middle name?
Thank you.

RE: Steinberg (one more thing)
I am glad you check edit requests, and don;t just accept them "as is" without checking, like some many others do or expect you to do. I'll make a note on Celia's memorial that she was his second wife.
Thank You

RE: Steinberg
Hi Norma, thanks for your great communication. I ended up deleting my memorial, because if you had deleted yours or we merged there is a chance of losing the flower that someone took the time in placing on your memorial. I send you an edit request to link wife Celia to the son Louis Bernard. Thanks again.

RE: Steinberg
It's easy to mix up those names that are a "a dime a dozen". Not easy to keep all those steinbergs, Cohens, Friedbergs, Schwartzs, etc straight. And everyone has an Anna, Samuel and Joseph in their family, too.
On a different thought, I can add all the information from your memorial to mine, and then transfer it back to you, would go faster than merging.

RE: Steinberg
thanks for the quick reply. I don;t know who Waldheim would be, who you will call.
We are not held to do a site wide search when submitting a memorial, so when another one is found placed in the wrong cemetery, the first one placed in the correct cemetery is considered the original, all others are duplicates. Please refer to the site's rules in that matter. The contributor "clevelandpole" had taken many photos in those two cemeteries, not realizing that they were two separate ones. Just an FYI.
I have physically walked all four Jewish cemeteries at the southern end of Jamesville Avenue and taken photos of all readable markers:
We can have the two pages merged, if you would prefer, but I do not delete a correctly placed memorial.
Thank You

Sarah "Sary" Kelsey Fix
I'm a descendant of Sarah "Sary" (Kelsey) and Henry Fix. Where have you found your information on them? I am trying to find historical records on them and haven't had any luck as of yet besides on Find a Grave. I have their parents, other ancestors, and children, but I can't find anything specific on them, their marriage, etc.

:)....I did the same at a past visit for my relatives because they had no memorials but others around them did so in the future I will remember where they are resting. Also allowed me to contribute to findagrave. Thanks for hitting the right area. Have a nice day!!

Yes, thought I would check with you first. Seemed by the photo you may have visited. Thank you:)

Hi Norma,
I noticed that you have a lot of markers from my family. Are you related?

Request for photo of Harry Wilson
Sorry, I don't have a photo of the requested grave stone and am unsure if one exists for Harry Wilson as his name isn't among the listed grave stones which were photographed within the last two years for the Flint Hills Genealogical Society.

But the following link might be of interest to you about how the flu took several members of the family including Harry Wilson.

It is clippings from the paper at the time.

If later this Spring when the weather becomes better and the request has not been fulfilled, I'll travel that way and walk the cemetery.

Best of luck in your photo request.

I have added Elmer's headstone but did not have a record of Ethel. If you would like to double check the cemetery, Terrace Height's number is (509) 453-1961

I went back out to the cemetery today and cleaned the headstone some. I have attached the new photo.
This looks better.

John Fazenbaker
Alice Broadwater

The cemetery Alice is buried in is referred to by several names. It is currently called Mt Beulah Cemetery but is often reffered to as New Germany and Twin Churches. There are memorials created for burials in all three cemeteries and I don't know how you could ever consolidate them into one name.

Thanks, John

Hi Thanks for that,
In actual effect once the alterations are made to the respective memorials there is only one dtr and one son still living.
Thanks for your time and consideration

She remarried after Elmer died. Are you sure they were divorced? Do you have the date and place?
