Hi - I see that you have added photos - are you related to Daniel? I am very interested in his first wife's family - Ethel Roop. I would enjoy sharing information with you! Merideth

Richard Weide
Louis Godfrey Weide etc
I'm beginning to fully document my Weide family history. Looks like Louis G. Weide was a nephew of my great grandfather Charles H. Weide. I did not realize we had relatives that lived (or live) in Colorado. (I live in Castle Rock, Colo now).

Louis G. Weide's wife was a Nanninga. My next door neighbor girl when I grew up in Lindsborg, Kansas married a Nanninga.

I worked in Germany for 20 years, and have many facts gleaned directly from individual German church records, and some photos. I've somewhat mastered reading the old German script in the old records.

My great-great-grandfather was Gottfried H. Weide, who came to the States in 1854, and to Yates Center about 3 years later.

I have been in the Turkey Creek church and the Old Red Barn.

I would love to contact descendants of Louis G. Weide and share genealogy materials.
Respectfully,
Richard Weide

Elsie and Boyd Agnew photo requests
The cemetery office confirmed that Boyd is buried next to his wife in an unmarked grave. A grave marker was never purchased for Boyd.

William Weide
I too mis-read the year of death. Yes, it says 1940 not 1910 on the marker. I looked back at my photos and I did have a close-up of the date so I posted it this afternoon on the memorial. The first picture was a little difficult to read. Check it out and see if it isn't better!

Yes, there is a memorial for William already -- I made it on Sept. 2, 2010. #58070645 Do a search by number and you will find it.

I linked Henrietta Theresa to him.

Feel free to send me anything you want added.

Silas and Mary McIntire
I have posted the grave marker photos for you for Silas and Mary McIntire.

You were asking if I know any other additional information for them. I do not. There is no other McIntire family buried near them.

RE: Thank you for the photos!
You are very welcome, I am so glad I could be of service.
I also got Maude Mayes Whistler who is buried beside them at their large headstone. She is to the left of where they lie, and to their right is Ebenezer Mayes. The dates make it rather hard to figure out the connection between Maude and Ebenezer, and I'm not sure where Maude fits in with the Whistlers.
I think you have some puzzle pieces to put together! I do love the genealogy puzzles.
Please do not hesitate to contact me directly if there is ever anything in Norman, Moore or Noble I can do for you!!!
Thank you, too, for your Find A Grave contributions!

RE: Thank you
I'm sorry they are not in better shape. The one for the elder Peter is on the ground. The previous sexton was trying to fix or reset some of the stones that are on the ground. No funds, or course. Still, yours are in better shape than many. They are still readable.

RE: Thank you again!
If I had realized on the earlier visit that she was another daughter (died too young), I would've gotten her picture then, but glad to have finally gotten all those girls in Sunset together!

RE: Paul C. Funston
Thank you! I'm hoping to link all John and Catherine's children to them, most are on this site, so it's just a matter of sending off emails. Such interesting times they all lived in and absolutely amazing people.

Again thank you for your help.
Terri
