Good morning Karon! Happy to transfer them for you. I sure would love everyone to have a pic or special information with their memorials. So many relatives live out of state and even out of the country that are related to those in Maplewood, and other areas who are not able to make it into the library. Did you want to upload better pictures for their memorials? Let me know if you have new ones up & Ill quick go in there & take the Then & Now pics off. I noticed Mast when looking at the Hoffmaster information, they are on my side. What Wonderful books they are, so Thankful!:)

Karon, I have transferred all the Hoffmaster memorials I previously added. I notice that no memorials have been posted for : Robert W. - Roxie - Ruth I. -
Venila G. - or Wesley J. I will leave that up to you. You mentioned David Hoffmaster. I wonder if that is the one listed as D. A.?
Lee Arnsman has a listing for David in his book but not D. A. That is why I think they might be the same. Thanks for your interest.
Have a good weekend!

RE: Photo request for Riley L Baker headstone
Hi Karon,

Thanks, but the real credit needs to go to the cemetery secretary, Jan, who painstakingly researched all of the information and provided it to me. She did a lot of hard work for me!

I know she would appreciate hearing from you! Her email is justjuanab@yahoo.com.

Thank you anyway,

Bruce

You should be able to edit these memorials. As I said yes I created them but once they were transferred to you you are the one that controls them now.

Since you maintain these memorials you have to be the one to Edit them and place them in the correct cemetery.

Karon,

Thank you so much! I appreciate it, and am happy to know that you knew him. I am much, much younger than him and only recall him visiting our house but once, when I was like 4 or 5. It is wonderful to hear that you actually knew him.

Karon,

I would like permission to use your photo of Wayne Penny's headstone - memorial 69897461 - in Mallory cemetery on my family tree on Ancestry.com. Wayne was my cousin, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of the work the volunteers on Find A Grave do for those of us who would otherwise be stuck.

So sorry it took me so long to respond. I've not been keeping up! What wonderful pictures you posted! I love seeing them!! Just because I stopped at that lovely little cemetery (have you been there?) because my own "greats" are there. I only took the picture because I'm IRISH too! And now I get to peek into someone elses family tree! What fun! LOL I'm in Northern Indiana, if you need anything my way let me know!! Thanks! jWheeler

Yes, those Keene's are related.

I'll send you a private email message and invitation to my ancestry.com family tree, as well.

Hi Karon ~

Thank you for your nice message; Michele did mention you a few days ago but I hadn't had a chance to get in touch with you.

I am not directly related to the Flitcroft/ Flitcraft family; I am descended from Sarah's husband Peter Shaffer Keene's first wife, Martha Celina Lewis.

However, because I like to make my genealogy research as complete as possible, I've found it invaluable to include all parts of my ancestor's story, which in this case includes Sarah and her family.

I have a private ancestry.com tree that I've been working on for about 2 years (the research is 7 years in the making) that you are welcome to visit and see if it would be helpful to you in any way. I probably don't have more than what you already have on the Flitcroft family but there is quite a bit on Sarah's husband Peter Keene...and I'm still working on him. However, I know that's not your focus as you're descended from Sarah's sister, so that's up to you. :)

God bless you for your work on findagrave.com. It's been a great forum and I've met some really nice people here in the year since joining.
