RE: Flitcroft Family
Karon, I descend from Sarah Frances Flitcroft and Peter Keene. Their daughter Myrtle Mary Keene was my great-grandmother. See her memorial 136730384. All of her children are together now on her memorial. Valerie

Satina Blackmer Flitcroft
Karon, along with the baptismal record of Satina Blackmer and her brothers Angustus and David October 1806 in Greenwich, Hampshire, Massachusetts, I found the marriage record of David Blackmer and Millissent/Milicent Sears 1 December 1785 in Greenwich, Hampshire, Massachusetts. See Memorial 109761101 Find A Grave. The death certificate for Satina Flitcroft states "Milson" Blackmer as the mother of Satina, not Wilson. This is great news for the descendants of Satina Blackmer and Seth Flitcroft. Your cousin, Valerie.

RE: Ruth Thomas Headstone
Hi Karon,

Yes, they are all buried together. Benjamin and Elizabeth on one side of the stone and Ruth and Esther on the other. Franklin and 2 of his 3 wives (Maranda and Fidelia) are buried in a different part of the cemetery. I haven't found 3rd wife Mary J - perhaps she re-married after his death, or maybe her name was never inscribed or recorded?

Thanks for all of the info and encouragement!

RE: Photo request for Esther Elvira Morse
Hi again Karon,
Just wanted you to know that I found an inscription for Esther on her parent's monument- I have posted it to her memorial. Her middle name is not Elvira. I had not checked before as someone else had already posted her parent's stone, but I guess missed Esther's info, or just didn't bother since she was a child. Esther's own stone is much older than her parent's and was probably already starting to degrade when they inscribed their own stone with her name- not too unusual for children's markers.
Have a great week,

RE: Photo request for Esther Elvira Morse
Hi Again Karon,
I was just entering a few more photos and came across another Morse, Annie Morse Stone, the daughter of Franklin and Miranda Hollis Morse. She is actually distantly connected to my family through her husband's sister Mary Stone West, who is buried very near Annie. Her Find A Grave Memorial# is 19273676 ,just in case you were interested. I have submitted an edit to list Morse as her maiden name.
Have a great day,

RE: Photo request for Esther Elvira Morse
Thanks for the Thanks!
Many of the stones are pretty worn in this cemetery which sits exposed to the west winds, which I'm sure carry dust from the open fields to "sandblast" the stones all the time. I also don't do anything, other than brush away grass clippings, to enhance the stones- I worry about further damage to already fragile surfaces. I need to go back to Greenwood, and I'll see if I can get a better picture for you.

RE: Eliakim Hammond Photo request
Thanks, I found it.. it appears he is listed twice on find a grave, once with the correct name and again by just the letter E Hammond. I will try to get one deleted or merged by administration

RE: Plano Cemeteries
Hi Karen,

The closest St. John's Lutheran Cemetery is in Somonauk, 10 miles west of here. I have photographed that one and uploaded all the stones. Here is the link to that cemetery. I photographed it because it is on the way to my hairdresser : )

RE: Mollie Hayes Ulsiton Memorial

I am researching the Warren family. Mollie's husband, Elmer was the son of Hester Warren, one of my husband's ancestors.

I am sorry but I do not have any information on Mollie's family. I have worked with with RAOGK folks to record all the members I could on Findagrave.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but if you want any information on the Warren's just let me know.

Take Care,

Hi Karon,
I just recently took over the memorials from Tanya Williams ( and am trying to clean up the old requests that have never been attended to on her bio page. I sent in a request for removal of the Dunfin pages to admin at Find A Grave since I can't remove them myself when they are transferred to me. So I hope to have this cleaned up shortly and those pages gone. Tanya has been inactive for a long time so I don't know if she just quit doing Find A Grave or has passed away. If you need anything else on something she has created, just let me know via the edit button on the pages.

Memorials for B Dunfin and Sarah Dunfin
May I ask how you found B Dunfin memorial #53675774 and for Sarah Dunfin memorial # 53675801? I am sure these two are ladies, and that the B should maybe be an E. for Elizabeth or could be they called her Beth, and the last name spelling should be Dunifin. They were wife #1 B or E Dunifin and Sarah wife #2 for John E Dunifin my husbands ggg grandfather coming out of the state of Delaware to Michigan.

Thank you for your time and for creating a memorial to them, and for helping me with how you found them.

Karon Dunifin

Carl Tripp - Hudson Corners Cemetery
Karon - thank you so very much for taking the photograph of my uncle Carl's headston in this cemetery. I've added a memorial for his wife and linked them. Would you please add your photo to her memorial as well? Do you mind if I use it on my family tree? I will, of course, give you credit. Many, many thanks for all you do for Find A Grave!!!

His memorial number is 105349770, if that makes it easier to find. :)

RE: John and Melvina Green
Yep, Melvina would be the daughter of Joshua and Louvisa Wilson Hudson. Joshua Hudson owned the property Hudson Corner is on....thus the name Hudson Corner. I have the purchase agreement.
It is strange. And John's death cert definitely says buried at Hudson Corner. They should have a fairly big marker.

John and Melvina Green
John's death certificate says he is buried at Hudson Corner. Probably just no headstone. But Melvina Hudson Green. John's wife, is the daughter of the property owner of the cemetery, Joshua Hudson. Seems strange their daughter and son-in-law have no headstones.
Thanks for looking!
