John Ulrich Zeth
Hi Jim -- Looking at tombstone pics, it appears you attached tombstone pic for John Ulrich Zeth, died 1901, to the incorrect Johannes (John) Ulrich Zeth who died`1820. Both buried in Claysburg; however, one is in Claysburg Union Cemetery and one in Old Claysburg Cemetery (per Hope all is well with you. I trust you're still with Blair County Gen. Society. Regards, Sarah "Sally" Williams, Magnolia, DE (I am researching WEAVER and ZETH in Blair County.)

Thank you so much for going out of your way to photograph my great-grandparents' grave. I am surprised the headstone is in such good condition.

RE: Henry Feathers, Claysburg
Hi Jim, i'm very sorry, but someone else (bob toelle ?) owns the H Feathers memorial in Claysburg. I'd change it if I could, but I can't. Good luck with your submission to bob t.

Thank you for providing the photograph of Mary's headstone. I see it was you that said that her grave was "across the street". Can you give me the exact name of the cemetery that you found her in, so that I can make the necessary change? Thank you Mr. Snyder.

Mary Ann Dodson Zeth
Thank you for responding and looking for the grave. You had stated that her grave was across the street in the Reformed Cemetery.

Another Find-a-Grave member provided the photograph of her headstone.
So I'm still not clear as to exactly where her grave is.

Thank you for your time and energy in this most worthwhile project we all call Find-a-Grave.

Elwilda Hoover Snyder
Hi Jim. I recently discovered a photo in the family stuff, and I would like you're opinion on it as I believe it to be Elwilda, her husband, and my GG Grandfather (her brother) and my GG Grandmother. Would it be OK to email it to you?

Re: Alvie / Alva / Alvy / Boylan 90212904
Wish there was more that could be done to document & preserve the stones carved by James H. Boylan & his son Alva Boylan. I've added as much info as possible to the memorials in the hopes that someone may have information to add.
I believe your Bible entry:
"A DAUGHTER WAS BORN TO ALVY & CATHERINE BOYLEN AUGUST 20TH 1850" applies to Margaret Boylan Hochard Aug. 22, 1850 - Dec. 29, 1903 wife of Jonathan Hochard with a memorial in Saint John the Baptist Cemetery in New Baltimore Somerset Co. PA #87323473. She also went by the name Sarah A. M.
Why that entry in the Bible is a puzzle.

RE: Shellytown Lutheran Cemetery
I took the picture of the church and might have added some memorials I did not create that cemetery listing and did not put that message out there. However that is good to know because I was not aware of that. I usually only list memorials from pictures I take of the stones. I have found many errors from many of the books listing memorials at different cemeteries.
I am even finding a lot of differences between death certificates and what is listed on the stones. who knows which is correct anymore?

RE: Shellytown Lutheran Cemetery
you left the following message on my board. "The Daryl Cole book is NO longer published by the Blair CO. Genealogical Society because of it's many errors."

I am not sure what this is in reference to?

Today at Huntingdon County Historical Society, I noticed the following record:

"125E Snyder,Geo. Pleasant Hill[Cem],S.Dublin Twp., left of entrance"

among "Veterans Administration Burial List" by Charles F Faust.

Since the Find A Grave record for George Sr includes a headstone photo in Greenlawn what do you think the chances are, George Jr is buried at this location in Hunt Co.? Oh, one of GJ's sisters is buried in Hunt Co.-I'm just saying.

Thank you,
Don Coho
