Thanks for giving this child a name. I used the d.c's quite a bit for this purpose, but forgot about this one.

As for Hamin/Humm, I contacted the submitter of the other memorial to see what we could work out. We both added in complete innocence.

I have deleted him. Kat already had him in the correct place. Hoenstine's fault. ;)

Thanks! It is really nice to name an unknown. Now, any idea on the verse? I see 'children' in the 2nd line and 'declares them blessed' at the end, but goggling it came up with nothing. I should send you my Collinwood ones that I never identified. :)

John Baumgardner 77361275
Hi Jim, I noticed you left a message for another volunteer regarding the picture for John Baumgardner 77361275.
Are you related to any of the other 12 Baumgardner at the Dayton Memorial Cemetery?

RE: Wyles Cemetery
Ok,Since I added new names in Ritchey-Wyles cemetery but I noticed your last name Snyder so that's why I emailed you. Sarah Snyder was a wife of James R. Leach. Thought she could be related to your group or not. Have fun to search findagrave like puzzle!

Thanks
Jim

Wyles Cemetery
Jim,

I just found out that Genkx added Ritchy-Wyles farm cemetery earlier. I was told that it is called Wyles cemetery so I added this name in findagrave because I thought they didn't add it. I looked information at Ritchy-Wyles farm cemetery but some of them didn't added like James R. Leach and more. I visited there in May 1988 and I trimmed around the cemetery so I can see tombs clearly and I wrote it down the list of information from tombs.

Ritchey / Snyder
Jim,

I went to Wyles Cemetery near Ritchey Cem. in 1988. I just added a new cemetery (Wyles) recently. Sarah Snyder was husband of James R. Leach buried in Wyles. James R. Leach was son of John Leach (or Leech) and Catherine Ritchey. Please let me know. I tried to find Kat 19409629 to contact her from grave member but no luck. Hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you so much for taking your time to search that cemetery. I believe that cemetery is on a slope along Route 22 so your walk wasn't a simple one. Thank you so much.

Andrew Smith
Hi Jim,

I appreciate the time and effort you spent in finding and photograping the grave of Andrew Smith, particularly since the stone was in the mud.

In checking his age at death, I have my doubts that this is the Andrew Smith I'm seeking. He would have been born in 1801, and that would make him most probably too old to take part in the War.

The Andrew Smith I'm seeking was born about 1846, according to his archived records.

RE: Upper Claar Cemetery
You have to go to the discussion forum section. You will need to create a separate sign on. Once you have done that, look in the Help with findagrave section. The very first on is Cemetery fixes. Read Mark's instructions. Then read a bunch of the posts for a few days so you get a feel for what has to be done. You can ask me questions.

Thank You
Jim,

This means a lot to me to have a photograph of my Great-Grandmother's headstone, especially since I live halfway across the county. Thank you for all that you've done.

Thank You
Jim,

Thank you for taking the time to photograph my ancestors headstone. It is a great quality photo, only wish the headstone itself had aged more gracefully.
