Nice job on his memorial. I am not an oarsman and never heard of him before reading the book. Very impressive, especially his role in the development of the 1936 UW Huskies National and Olympic champion crew. I have a slight bias; I was a USNA mid in 1952 when the 1952 crew, including a classmate took Olympic gold at Helsinki. That classmate won another prize in Finland. He married her when we graduated the next year.

My Mommy
Hi there Bob,
I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your pictures of my moms memorial. When I found it here off of google, it made me smile to know someone was taking good care of her memory. Do you remember who put in the request for the photos? Just curious. I would like to know in case it was from someone in the past.

May God bless you ten fold!
Niyah Gonzales, daughter of Mary "Zori" Figueroa

William & Beverly Taylor
I have created a memorial page for William Taylor (no. 127141844). Could you please add the photo of his and Beverly's gravestone that you have on her memorial page (no. 84679159) to his page as well? Thank you.

Carolyn Roberts memorial
Hi there

I discovered through a little research that one of the memorials you created, Carolyn F. Roberts, d 1998, is buried under her maiden name. Her married name was Durall and I thought you might want to add it in. I am guessing her family did this since she was killed by her husband. I also found that another findagrave member has a memorial for her under her married name but doesn't have any burial information. Perhaps between the two of you you can decide if one of them should be deleted. I will let the other member know the same. Hope you are enjoying the findagrave web site!

Hi, Thank you...don't think it was your fault. Probably mine or something within the site that hiccuped the number :) . Stay warm.

Pansys parents
Hi Bob,
Pansys first husband was my uncle William Guthrie. Do you have any information on her parents, or their names?
And do you know what became of their son William Guthrie? He used to live in So Park Seattle, WA.
Thanks, Carole Bonnell Carolebonnell@aol.com

Thank you for updating her memorial, but her date of birth was 1893, not 1894. That is from family records, which include a notice in the Medford Mail of Friday, March 24, 1893.

Higley's
You left me a message about a Pauline Higley??? Please give me the dates, so I can find her in my files, and any other information such as burial place. I live in NW OHIO, and far away from your area. If there is any request in my area let me know. Would you consider transferring Warren and Mary Higley to me? Warren Miles Higley was born April 27 1905 (d) Nov. 4, 1988.
Thanks
Sincerely,
Leroy Higley

Thanks so much for adding my great-aunt's and her husband's information here. Josephine is my grandmother Mary Zastoupil Malone's 101847248 sister. I knew she moved to Washington, but wasn't sure where, now I know. Thanks so much. Someday I hope to have them all linked together, thanks again.

Maurice Afton Pollard
Hi, Afton Pollard, son of Dr. Matthew and Ida May (Hocker) Pollard, Barnard, MO. Great pic, really appreciate your work and effort for Find A Grave. Afton is the oldest son, having a younger brother, Cleo, also of the Seattle area. Ida Hocker is my wife's great, great aunt on her mother's side of the family. Ida and Matthew share the neighboring plot next to my father and mother-in-law in the Bolckow Cemetery, Bolckow, MO.

Would love to have permission to use Afton's pic on his Ancestry page to go along with his info and history.

Thank you again for your help.

Transfer X 2
Dear Bob,
Thank you so very much for your generosity in transferring not only Dr. Hugh but his wife, Mary, as well. I have united them and Hugh with his mother. As time permits I will be adding to OUR memorials. I so appreciate your understanding.

Bob, I am so very sorry that you are battling this horrendous disease.
My prayers go out to you during this trying time. I would love to hear from you on occasion...you can tell me all about beating it.

Your friend,
Marcia
