Cleaning House
Just cleaning out my profile and wanted you to know that Gary Freese (#47336434) is Logan County, IL historical society genealogist. He's the guy to ask if you've got any questions about your 4th great-grandfather, Mr. Turley.

FAG PHOTO"S
Hi Christine; I am helping with a project to identify the last resting places of our soldiers/sailors from Vermont, that served in the Civil War. I have found two from Scott County that you have contributed Find A Grave photo's to ( Benjamin Gould & Fletcher Putnam.) There may be others I haven't discovered yet. I would like to ask your permission to use them on the Vermont Civil War data Base? (www.vermontcivilwar.org" You would receive credit for this.

Thank you for your consideration on this.

Henry Tuley
Hi! I found a document online that mentions a Henry Tuley? (enlarge) here: http://www.civilwaronthewesternborder.org/content/tender-service-martin-white
I didn't know if this person might be of your family since my ancestor, Martin White, lived close to your ancestor, James Turley and both came from the same county in Kentucky. Thot I might ask. If not, I'll continue looking.

RE: Henrietta Barns
Hi Christine,

I think that was the only photo I have of her. I have some of Henrietta's children when they were young. I know I have several of the twins at various stages of life. I've placed several for Pleasant's siblings. I'm working on my Van Cleave family at the moment. I'll go through the albums again after I get the basic photos posted.

RE: Next to Willitt Carroll
Christine,
I'm not sure what you are saying, I have no records that Willet Carroll had any grand children. His son and adopted daughter died too young, and his daughter Christie was reported to be unmarried, and is buried under her maiden name.
if you have further information, would be very grateful to see it.

Also please clear up your message in reference to Cora Smith Carroll, I'm not sure what you mean.

Sincerely
Sherry Paul Duty

Campbell child
I started looking for Campbell relatives buried at Oakdale on my husband's side of family, and ended up with list of all Campbells buried there, so I'm researching them and linking them with their families as much as possible. (Cyrus & Lizzie are his relatives.) This morning, I found I overlooked Clarence Campbell, who was most likely son of Cyrus & Lizzie, as he is also buried in Section 07, Lot 161. He died 16 Aug 1882, age 2y5m, of Dysentery. I'm sorry I didn't catch it before....Did you happen to notice any other Campbells near Cyrus and Lizzie?

I just doublechecked list for those in Section 07, and I also found Edward C. Campbell, died 18 Jan. 1886 at age 2, of Diptheria. I don't know who his parents were, but he is buried in Section 07, Lot 043. (I already have photo requests which were claimed for Ann, Thomas, and Charles Campbell in Section 07, 030.)

Thanks. I don't expect you to go back out there, but if you want to, let me know, and I'll put in photo requests.
