Valerie -- You have my grandfather Howard Acton in the wrong generation!! The people you list as siblings are more than likely aunts/uncles. They aren't his siblings.

Please correct or give management to me.

: ) Thanks!

Howard Acton
Hello! I am the granddaughter of Howard and Tweedie Allman Acton. Neither of my grandparents had a middle name. How can we take the J out of my Grandfather's find a grave list?

It is a common mistake because on a draft record a mark he made indicating he had no middle name looks like a J or a T.

Thank you!

I am very interested in your information and work love to share and learn more about that leg of the family!

Valerie thanks for posting the photos of the headstone for Alexis and Mary L. Neidt Adamietz. Because of your heads-up to me, I was able to locate her maiden name and other info. Lois

RE: Emily Ann Dowden Crocket
Hi Valerie,

Sure, you are welcome to use my picture of Camden Crockett's stone. It was quite an experience getting to this cemetery. It must be a couple miles off the nearest road - without the help of a local, I would have never found it. I'm quite certain there are other Crocketts buried there, but there is just the one stone for Camden and Emily. Are you a relative? I'm not a Crockett relative, but was interested in Camden because of his service in the 33rd Indiana Infantry during the Civil War.

Valerie, do you know anyone who could do an obit lookup for me for Olga? Her first husband was my great grandmothers' brother, Dell Lamb.
Thank you,

RE: Bernard Frederick Nagle
I got the photo from the web site that I posted as a message with the tomb stone picture-
This man has photographed many of the tomb stones in and around York Co. I try and remember to send an email to the person requesting the photo a message with this web site so if there are other tomb stones they are looking for they can go to this site. Many he have indexed with names others they are just the photos that you would need to look at each picture to find the name you want. I think as long as you document that you got the photo from this web site you can use it.
As for the star I can try and find out and get back to you.

I am not related to John. I would be able to transfer it easier, I think, if you also gave your find a grave id. I have no problem with you using the pictures.
