Mary Foster and Mary Warner
Hi Dale, Our genealogy is intriguing. Each one starts with himself, and then we find common ground with someone else, and meet up on the computer. History was what I loved. Not only the history of my great country and elsewhere. Then I decided to research my family history, and became the self-appointed family historian.
Mary Foster and Mary Warner were two different ladies. Mary Fosterís father was Seth Foster. The Foster line was originally from Ipswich, England. The date of her death comes from family data and says about 1622. (I explained this a little better in the Bio) There is plenty of time in for death and remarriage, as Mary Warnerís first child must have been conceived in February 1663 and was born on 5 Nov. 1663.
I hope this clears up your concerns.
Thanks for bringing your concerns to me. That helps me to make a good story better. I like our work to be as near to actual fact at possible.
Welcome to my family.
Your (I donít know how many times removed) Cousin,

RE: Eleanor Choate
"Jonas' reputation as a man of good character, kindness, and integrity brought such support in the petition from the community. Whether or not he fired at the soldiers really isn't the point, but that the community demonstrated such support. Interesting also that he remarried Eleanor Choate (the "blooming buxom lass"), who is the sister of Rufus Choate, who married Jonas' daughter Amanda."

Loved the photo you posted. Do you have any photos of Rhett's brothers and sisters? I am related to this family through the O'Quinns.

RE: Link
Thanks for the information. I am sure it will come in handy. I have found a couple more of my mothers brother and sisters in South Carolina. I saw the grave site you added, the pictures look really good. I noticed that at Arlington Park there is around 8000 graves submitted but only around 1500 with pictures. It seems that a lot of people just submit some info without any pictures. I have found a lots of mistakes on the dates. I will be going back. I intend to make sure all the graves in the Ascension section have been submitted and have pictures. There are a lots of grave in that section. I'll be seeing you. It was nice to meet you.

Thank you for Heber Stone
Thank you for the picture of Heber Stone.

Are you related?

As it turns out, he is my Paternal Grandfather. I did not have much contact at all with him even though I get my last name from him. This mostly due to divource.

If you are not related, would you be offended if I asked you to transfer the account to me?
I am trying to reasearch more about this side of my family.

Petersons in Harris Cemetery

I see that you added some pics to memorials for individuals buried in Harris Cemetery in Seville. I would like to confirm with you that James M. Peterson is the father of Joe Peterson, who married Minnie Bennett. My wife is related through the Rossie family and I listed all of the Harris cemetery graves in hopes of connecting all of the family members buried there.

Thank you, in advance, for your assistance.

Robert Ellison photo request
Mr. Choate,
I have photographed all the markers in the oldest part of this cemetery. I am no longer attending this church but know from my research that many of the headstones in this section were worn away over the years. This section was cleared by a past pastor and his son who did a wonderful job but may have accidentally made the grave you are looking for unmarked. Many wooden headstones have simply rotted away. There are several unmarked slabs in this section. I still speak with the secretary of this church and if there is anything else I can do for you please let me know.

RE: Edward Hawkins Choate
I will email you later but wanted to quickly send this. Did you look at Gideon Choate born 1839? I have a copy of his death certificate on his memorial. It is where the tokens are usually. It lists Martha 'Cooper' as his mother. will go thru' my notes and get back with you. Claudia

Hello Dale,
Glad to hear from you. I haven't worked on my genealogy for a while but I need to get started, again. You mentioned Rebecca Hooper. I saw that somewhere, too. I don't remember where. I will go through some of my papers and see what I have. I think Rebecca Atwell was married to another Choate but someone has tied her to him and other people copies misinformation.
You know I was so happy when I found out when and how E.H. died. I would like to share info. If you don't mind, I would be so grateful for pictures. Thank you. Claudia
