The two Fenters memorials you entered in Owen Cemetery - Was there a marker or do you have personal knowledge. Are you located around the Lafayette area? Do you know who the parents are? Thanks for any info you may have.

I made a mistake the suggestion for her father was wrong. That was her husband.

RE: Incorrect marriage date
I only posted the photo of the marker found at Riddle Cemetery. I cannot vouch for its' accuracy or speak for the person who put the marker there.

Thank you for taking the photo. He was my 3rd gr grandfather. Because the gravemarker is so old it is difficult to read online. In the comments section of the photo can you transcribe what it says? Again, thank you so much. -Sharee

Alan...Thanks for honoring my photo requests. They are very good. I visited Riddle cemetery about 6 years ago before I had a lot of information on relatives buried there. I doubt that I will ever make it back to the area, so help from people like you is greatly apprecated. My 2nd greatfather owned the 40A. just west of the cemetery in the 1830's to the 1870's, before the family all moved west. Several of his children are buried in the cemetery. Clarissa was his daughter. I am in the prcess of determining which relatives are buried there. Thanks again for your time....Bill

John Seaton stone
John Seaton was my third great grandfather on my mother's side of the family. She was a Hughes, and I still have lots of family in the area, mostly in Harrison County, but some in Crawford. I really appreciate you taking the time to take this photo.

All the best,
Carolyn Stauth Kallemeyn

Alan,
I happened on an obituary that you attached to my great great grandmother's Find a Grave sight. You don't know how much I appreciate the gesture. It was nice to read, and I even had tears in my eyes when I realized that they had died 36 hours within each other.

Again thanks,
Sally Chiodo

Dee Simons
RE: Louisiana Burden
Hello Allen,
I found a Burden headstone that says " Rich'D Burden" and right beside that to the south is one that only says "Mother"
Do you have any idea if this might be what you are looking for as I do have photos of both.
I will continue working on locating this grave since I work 7 miles from there one day a week.
God Bless!
Dee
