John L. Byars
Memorial# 33099555
I am refusing to change his middle name to Logan even though there is a high probability you are right considering his mother was a Logan.
However, some kin have offered another name and no one has provided a source that shows his middle name in print other than the initial.
In interviewing his descendants not one is sure that his middle name is Logan nor can offer a source that gives it as Logan. So until I am sure without a doubt that it is, it shall remain just an initial.
I would welcome your proofs for I would certainly like to know for sure. It has bothered me for decades but I have learned not to assume.

Find A Grave Memorial# 33609718
Regarding the memorial for Nathan Byars. I have been researching and interviewing kin for nearly 35 years now and have never seen nor heard him referred to as Nathanial. Hence, I am refusing to change the naming on his memorial unless you can cite and show me the source from which you got this information.
If I can be convinced then I shall change the name. He has many descendants named Nathan also and I never have heard them referred to as Nathaniel either.
However, I am open if you can provide a first class resource.

Helen Mae Edwards
Hi, Carolyn,

I have transferred Helen Mae's memorial to you.

I believe her husband Stanley is still living because Helen Mae was buried in this veterans cemetery as a military dependent; this implies that the servicemember will be buried there also. He is not buried there at this time.

Not to rush anything, but I will add Stanley's memorial as soon as he is buried in this cemetery, unless I beat him there.

Have an awesome day, Bill

Dinice Ross
Helping Out
I would like to publicly thank Carolyn Hall for all the work she has done to help clear up a lot of mistakes other volunteers have submitted to different websites regarding the Hi Jolly Cemetery's list of deceased. I work for the Town of Quartzsite, Cemetery Dept. as coordinator, records, historian, and generally anything to do with the Hi Jolly Cemetery. She has been helping me for the last 2-3 years clear up about 280 names that are not in the Hi Jolly Cemetery. I would not have been able to do this without her help. I know this is an ongoing problem and thanks do not do this justice -but - Thank You. Dinice Ross, Hi Jolly Cemetery, Quartzsite, AZ.

RE: Amanda Stewart and spouse Charles Nathaniel Green
Charles Green is my great-great grandma's half brother. I inherited all of my great-grandma's photos, and the ones I posted were the only ones I have of them, and I'm not related to the Stewarts so I don't have anything about them. Sorry.

Glen Lavern Smith
Hello Carolyn,

I tried to transfer Glen Smith's memorial page to your cousin (Anonymous) but Find A Grave couldn't find that member. Since Glen Smith is in your family tree, I opted to transfer his page to you. All of the extra information is updated for you. Glen Lavern Smith is now in your care.

RE: Mary Corey (Brown)
Thanks Lynn,
Mary was a 3rd cousin. That is a wonderment how she can be her own sister? Nothing is perfect in our present technologically advanced system, I reckon.

Noxon cemetery family
I am so happy you found your family! The Noxon Cemetery is really a nice place and seems to be very well cared for.

I have transferred George and Frankie King and Betty Jose to your care. George still needs the year of his death added, it was missing from the e-mail.

I deleted the duplicate memorial I had set up for John Jose. I try to be careful and not make duplicates BUT ... obviously sometimes I get careless. Anyway, I added the photo to his other memorial.

Enjoy your family.

William Stewart
I really dont' know about this relationship. Maybe the father was Oscar Stewart, but being like Oscar, Sr.
All I do is walk the cemeteries and write down what I can on the headstones. Some of it isn't visible, but what is there, I write, then others send info.
I'm sorry.
