George T. Stonebraker
Hi Eric,

I have been searching for Bessie Welch Stonebraker and I have not had any luck and I just wondered if you had any ideas. Her husband was George T. Stonebraker and he was born in 1872 and passed away in 1913(Keyser,West Virginia). Bessie passed away in 1916. If you have any ideas, I would appreciate it.

Thank you,
Sharon Blevins

Gordon Nelson Selby Photo
I believe Gordon is the son of Nelson Orion Selby 1868-1934 son of Peter Selby 1817-1891 son of Middleton Selby 1793-1877 son of Zachariah Selby 1758-1841 son of Thomas Selby 1720-1793. My reasoning is this: Nelson Orion was married to Caroline T Behrens whose parents owned a florist shop and the photo of Gordon appears to be taken in a greenhouse.

Eric, GREAT TO SEE THE NEW GRANITE MEMORIAL!!! My immigrant ancestors, William&Hanne Schartiger, bought 70 acres from D.S.&Susan & Joseph&Sarah Tucker in 1851. (Gary?) Tucker in the Midwest sent me a survey, which matched my drawing from the deed. William&Hanne were buried on the knoll between the Veach farm pond and Knobley Road. Their gravestone was found and returned to the family in 2011. It was restored on an explanatory granite base and placed at Mt. Carmel UM Church, Arthur, WV. When a neighbor showed us where he had found the marker, with excavated embankment soil for the pond, we noticed the nearby vacant house and cemetery, which was overgrown and many stones broken. I think I mentioned this in an email to Gary(?). AGAIN, GREAT WORK BY EVERYONE CONCERNED!!!
Please email:

Ada Eisele Photo
Hello again, Eric. I thought you might want to put your photos of Ada Eisele on her memorial page(you have one each on Homer Eisele and on Naomi Eisele. Ada's married name is Robertson. Her headstone is on the right of Henry and Susan Rebecca Bell Eisele's headstone. Ada's husband, Bert is on the left side of Henry's. Would you mind if I use those photos of Ada's on my ancestry tree? Thanks, Brenda

I just fulfilled your request for Barry. I wanted to let you know he is buried in Maplewood Cemetery, Fairfield, ME. I have a feeling that someone set up Fairfield Cemetery at Find A Grave and I think the cemeteries are one in the same!

Eric, thank you so much for all your input. I have a lot of the same photos you do and am wondering how we are related. You also have some I do not have, but would love to have a copy. You helped confirm many of the photos I had. My father passed away and many of the photos I have are not marked. I would love to see if you could identify some of my unmarked photos-Bell, Streck, Selby, Eisele, Gebhart, Hetzler, Huntsbarger Browns Run families are in my tree. Do you have an tree?
