That memorial was not entered by me but by Stuart Woodside. Try doing an edit on the memorial explaining your relationship as this is the only way to get in touch with Stuart. He has been reasonable in the past and transferred some family memorials to me. Good luck. If There are any others that I have entered please let me know and I will gladly transfer to you.

Ruth Steeter
I thought you might be interested in another sibling of Thomas and Elizabeth. Her name was Ruth, #74849910, married to Salmon Kenfield, #74849910. They are buried in Finch Cemetery, Cattaragus Co., NY. I have asked the contributor for Ruth to link with her parents. Thanks-Gary

Ok, I have finally run across the information left in your virtual flower May 2013 and have linked her to her parents. The person who created/manages a memorial here at Find A Grave is not notified when a virtual flower is left and may not run across any info left in it for days, weeks, months, years, perhaps never. I personally try to go through all of my memorials once a year to check for things like this. The proper way to do this is to go to the "Edit" tab at the top right of the memorial in question and choose the option that best suits your needs. Then an email will be sent with the pertinent information. Further, Find A Grave guidelines state, " . . . biographical information and obituaries should not be included in a virtual flower." I ask that you go to the virtual flower you left, click on the flower itself and remove it. That's the only way to remove the information typed therein. You can then create another virtual flower if so desired.

Did you also see that I added photo's for three children of James T. and Sarah?

Oscar's stone is leaning against a Kelly stone. Willard and Addie's are still in the ground but tilted forward.

You are very welcome. had the time today and the cemetery is only 10-15 minutes away. Have some relatives there as well.

Would this Streeter, possibly be a relative? Found this lone stone some years back along side the road not far from the Bedell Cemetery.

Submitted by Roger D Davis, August 8, 2000

Today I found a grave that I was told about. It sits right on the edge of the road and appears as though the road is built right over the lady. I am told that the road used to be an old carriage road, very narrow and just dirt. Sometime ago the road was put in and apparently no graves were dug up, yet there is one stone still there. It is in what was probably a corner of an old farm field. This stone can be found on Streeter Road out of Fleischmanns, New York in the Town of Middletown just above the turn to Moseman road and farm, on the right side of the road coming from Fleischmanns. The stone reads as follows:

In Memory of
wife of James T. Streeter
who died March 9, 1838
Aged 25 yrs 10m 3 days

At times I'm amazed at the fact that energies come together to reveal wonderful things. Last month I received a box of old photos from my cousin. I'm self publishing a book on the Michigan Burlesons. In the box was a photo of Bob Seeley and his grand-daughter / Emmerick. He looked so much like my grandfather Edward that I thought he must be a Burleson relation. So I got on and located a Seeley relative. The photo is now on its way to that family. Today I decided to investigate your Find a Grave messages and low and behold, there were queries about Emmerich and Seeley. Wow! Just blew my mind how the information just came together. So, help us solve the mystery about the Seeleys. How are they related to the Burlesons? Aloha from cousin Sue on Maui

RE: Thank You!

I shall try to get back to the Parks gravestones; I may be able to decipher some more of the lichen-covered inscriptions. The old limestone is worn; but possibly readable with more time.

RE: Double Trouble with Orris Tubbses
This branch is many times removed from me. I descend from Isaac Tubbs (1682-1749) through his daughter Mary Tubbs (1710-1813), who married Abisha Bingham. If you go to each of the Tubbs' in your line that I have and request a transfer through the Edit tab, I'd be glad to transfer them to you. If you wish to transfer some or all of them to Edwin Sherwood afterwards, that's fine with me.

Tubbs/Edwin Sherwood
Below is the beginning of a lengthy email received by me today via Find A Grave. I would like to ask your exact relationship to these Tubbs' and who Edwin Sherwood is. There is much information you have given me that will require much research on my part to verify. "Dear Anna:
Thank you for your contributions to Find A Grave! Thanks in part to Edwin Sherwood, I have identified some corrections for the following entries:"

The first Tubbs you refer to can be found at this link included in your email:

I normally require, per Find A Grave Guidelines, that requests for changes/additions/transfers be done one at a time, through the memorial in question. The memorial I created for Orris S. Tubbs, who died in 1848 and married Hannah is correct. The person who uploaded the photo uploaded the incorrect photo and I will speak to him/her as soon as possible. If you are more closely related to these families and wish a transfer, please let me know your ties.

Hannah Tubbs Relationship
You are welcome for the photo Perry. I am curious about how Hannah would be related to my 4th Great Grandfather Orris Tubbs (died Oct. 21, 1836)who was married to my 4th Great Grandmother Margaret M. Walker (died Nov. 9, 1887). Could you give me the relationship to Hannah if you know it? Thanks Perry!

RE: Thank You!
No problem at all! It was excellent timing that I received the email requests on the same morning that I was heading that way to help my mum at her cottage. Two good deeds in one day! :-)

Before I go and find the headstones, what exactly are you looking for? Dates and names I am assuming, anything else I should be looking for? I guess what I mean is, is there something specific I should be looking for?

Hi Perry,
I was just going through my old messages on Find A grave and came across yours. I did not remember photographing for you until I just now saw the message. Your name has become very familiar to me. I am working with Town Historian, Karen Deeter from Lexington. I here you will be coming out here, and I look forward to meeting you!

Lovisa Kirtland Bushnell
Perry, you left too much info for a note. Could you please shorten it ? Or better yet, say what you have to say about her on your website. Thanks, R.J.

Lovisa Lord Bushnell
Perry, thanks for leaving the websites. I wasn't aware of the fact that Daniel and Lovisa Kirtland had two daughters named Lovisa. I don't know how accurate the bible records are. Maybe they were done from memory. I found Lovisa's marriage in the Saybrook Colony Vital records book and her and husband's death in the cemetery records of Cypress Cemetery at Saybrook.

Thank you so much for sending these pics of the Williamsons memorials, and it looks like you went the extra mile to get a good photo of Abrahams memorial.

Thanks again, we appreciate your time and effort,
