Zella
Poland cemeteries
Dave,

You need to send them (5 at a time) to edit(at)findagrave.com. Give the link to each one. Explain that yours were added later, but in the correct cemetery, and ask if they can be merged. (Gives the links to your correct ones also). Since yours are in the correct location you will most likely retain ownership, especially since the other contributor is inactive. It may take awhile for them to be acted on, as there are thousands of requests going to edit. If they do not fix them within about 40 days, resend. Make sure you keep copies for yourself.

I connected her to her son. Great find - it's nice to link across states!

As for the burials listed at Riverside that belong in the other cemetery (per your bio), you can submit them 5 at a time to edit to be put in the correct cemetery.

I was in Poland a couple weeks ago, so will eventually have more photos to add.

RE: Catherine Liddill
Tracked down the source of differing data for these Liddills. Ignoring the printed books (which are woefully incomplete and incorrect many times), we'll just take a look at the TWO sets of grave memorials. Of course, you have the original burial-site stones in Poland and their readings. That's a good starting point. Now, take a look at what just came to light: 37542446. George and Catherine's son's monument has a cenotaph to his parents--with more complete information. Very easy to read, too.

Gives us a birth date of Mar 2, 1773, and death date of July 2 or 22, 1856, for George.

Gives us a birth date of Jan 10, 1783, and death date of Aug 23, 1816, for Catherine.

Thanks for responding. Janis

Thorne in Poland Cemetery
Hi! Nice work on the Poland Cemetery. Thanks ever so much! It's about a three-hour drive for us . . . not exactly a pop-over trip for us. Thanks for taking the time to do this!

Am looking for Joseph M. Thorne (1804-1881) and his wife, Mary Sanderson Cooke Thorne (1815-1883). Both died in Poland. Was surprised not to find them listed on Find A Grave in one of the Poland cemeteries. The printed transcription books in Ohio (from around here, anyway) can be seriously incomplete, so I was wondering if you had any other lists to look on. Mary was Philo Cook's second wife (he's buried in the Village/Pres Cemetery). It's her daughter, Rachel, who's buried near Philo, too.

Thanks, in advance, for any help. JanisG

Thank you for this photo. It also gave me dates for her husband which I didn't have. I've added his memorial to the Poland Riverside Cemetery and linked him to Elizabeth. Would you be kind enough to add the same photo to his memorial if you still have it? Thanks again!

Hi,
Just read your bio. Thank you for your cemetery work. Regarding the postings from an inactive person, I think if you contact administrators at info@findagrave.com they could make the corrections for you.
Thanks again.

RE: Morrisons in Poland Riverside Cemetery
Thanks for the photos of the grave markers for James & Isabell Morrison at Poland Riverside Cemetery. I checked the other Morrison names that you captioned her photo with, but these are not my relatives, as I am related through Isabell (Kennedy) Morrison's family. Thanks for locating the graves and uploading the photos to their memorial pages. Thanks!

RE: Isaac Walker
I put it in his memorial where I found the information. My GG grandfather was Curtis Walker from Ohio, his father was Isaac Walker and I believe rachel is part of my decendant's as my G Grandfather had named a daughter Rachel Pearl Tyler. Most of my family Tyler's/Walker's were from around Marion Co., OH I'm trying to find relatives of them. My GG grandmother was Sara Charlotte Walker. Curtis Walker, on his death Cert. says he had 6 children, I can only find 2 of them, Sara B 1868 and her brother, James Henry b-1872. They also lived in Logan, Union and Bellefontaine Co., OH.
If you know of any info that can help me it would be greatly appreciated. you can email me at martea36535@gmail.com

Thank you SO much for the transfers! And thanks for sending us the extra website. Actually, that's my cousin's old website, and we're in the process of setting up a new-and-improved place for the info. Very nice of you to be so accommodating. Have a blessed new year!

Slaven and Logan Graves--Poland Presbyterian Cemetery
Dave,

Thanks for the additional data for these memorials. I'll make the changes when I have a few minutes to concentrate on them. Are these people ancestors of yours? If so, I'll be happy to transfer 'ownership' to you so that you can add other data and links.
