|JAM||RE: Knights in Riverside Cemetery|
Dave - Thank you so much for posting the photos to the Knights" memorials, and also for creating an additional memorial for their family. I apologize for taking so long to acknowledge your contribution. I went through a period of inactivity, and also had always received emails directly to me so didn't check my Find-a-Grave profile page where your message was posted. The photos are great, by the way! Thanks again. Judy

Thank you! I was not able to get back to Ohio for cousin Frank's funeral, and having the photo on his memorial is wonderful

|Kline Lynch||Re: Elizabeth (Graham) Slaven, Memorial# 35508978|
My record for Elizabeth Mary (Graham) Slaven indicates that she was born in 1760 in Dublin, Ireland, and died Jun. 10, 1836 in Poland, Ohio. She was the wife of Barnabus Slaven, Sr., born in 1759 in Antrim, Ireland and died Sep. 13, 1810 in Poland, Ohio.
She and Barnabus had six children: Barnabus Slaven (1785–1866), Andrew Slaven (1790–1866), Margaret Slaven Reed (1793–1863), George Slaven (1798–1859), Nancy Slaven Sullivan (1801–1863), and Mary Slaven Harris (1803–1863).
If we are confident that the posted birth date (1787) on this Elizabeth Slaven memorial (#35508978) is correct, than she cannot be this Elizabeth Graham who was born in 1760, and the mother of these children.
Thank you efforts and interest in this family.

Thank you - I always welcome additional information. Of course, I then went on a tangent, trying to research Charles. He is apparently buried at Riverside (according to the downloadable list of Poland Twp. soldiers), so I added him and linked him to his parents, and linked the rest of the Leslies also. I ran across an online copy of the Daniel and Mary book. I am going to have to try and find a copy for my aunt - she would love it.

Thank you for the great write up on Robert Wilsons memorial page! The photos also are wonderful! It is very much appreciated! I actually went there looking for his wife, Nancy, whom I didn't find, but finding such an excellent representation of Mr. Wilson was a very pleasant surprise!

at Poland Riverside...
The plot photo you added looks very nice, but you accidentally added it under the photo icon, instead of the grave icon. Could you delete and re-add it under the grave icon? Otherwise someone will be expecting a photo of Jane.
Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Thanks so much for the photo of Edwin's marker and the larger Weese marker. I appreciate your foresight in capturing photos of both! I'll continue to research and verify where Madge was laid to rest.
Thanks again, Linda

Just because Barth is inactive doesn't mean that you cannot get his memorials corrected. Just send a regular edit as if he was active; the site takes care of those now, for inactive accounts, and usually pretty quickly. I got a bunch of his at Riverside recently merged correctly with yours at the other cemetery.
BTW, whereabouts do you live in Poland? My aunt lives over on Duncan Drive, and Riverside was where I first got my love of cemeteries when I used to walk there as a child with my grandpa. :)

|Anonymous||Isaac Walker family graves|
Could you add the links for Isaac's siblings if available? Three of his four other siblings who survived to adulthood, Joseph, Alexander, and Jemima, never married, and all of them lived to old age. I couldn't find any cemetery records but perhaps they were buried on the farm? Mariah, his sister, did marry and had two children. I will send the info if I find it.
FYI, his wife, R. Edna's first name was Rebecca. Her maiden name was alternately spelled Steuart and Stewart. Their only child was Della Mary Walker. Edna's family is also buried at the obelisk.
There is an error in the article you posted for Isaac. His daughter, Della, studied at and graduated from Women's Medical College in Philadelphia in 1894, not Western Reserve. She first practiced in New York and Philadelphia before coming to Salem in 1896.
Entry for Josiah Walker(died 1853) needs name corrected from Dr. Grace Walker to Dr. Della Mary Walker. It is her bio in the Butler book.

Thanks for the suggestion to link Lillian with her parents. I am not directly related to her -- only to her husband, Frank Wesley Stier so if you would like for me to transfer her to you, I'd be willing to do that.

Hello I just looked and your public post page still has my personal email address posted there. Perhaps you could delete that?
Also I have been working on my Wrights and have some more info on Mary Kidd Wright (1785-1836) # 47345338. Might you consider transferring this memorial to me. I will send you a message over the edit function here. Thank you.

I did photograph the "back side" and all the markers in this lot. Haven't had time to post them today. The famous people have to have the photo reviewed before it is put up so there will be a delay, but it said it would be up generally within 24 hours.
Always happy to help.
