RE: Permission to use your images
There are no particular photos that I would use. When I am working on ancestry.com and there is someone in my family tree who has findagrave as a source, if that memorial has a picture of a headstone or grave marker I would like to use it for their memorial.

Thank you for allowing me to do that.

Patrick McGlinchey
Hi Jenny, Thank you so much for what you do. I have been doing my family's genealogy and my wife's. It has been difficult to find some dates or graves in the UK.I am trying to locate my 2nd Great Grandfather Patrick McGlinchey and his wife Ellen. Patrick was born about 1819 and died around 1914? Ellen was born about 1836 and died 1915? His father Peader was (B 1772-D 1860). His father was Owen Rudah and he was (B 1734-D 1820) His father was Owen Roe (B 1695-D 1780 ) and his father was Padriag (B 1650- D1750). They were all buried in Kilteevoge and wondered if you had come across any of them.Would love any info or how I can go about finding more on these great grandfathers. My email is gregconnolly@earthlink.net Thank you in advance. Best, Greg Connolly

FAG Transfers
Hello Jenny Dené-Hotchkiss (#47344781)

Thank you very much for your kindness and respect for your recent transfers of my family members. You will note the Peter Kivett Family Association, Inc. is the current caretaker of the Masters Cemetery. I spent 5 years with the IRS and lawyers to create the 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization; Peter Kivett Family Association, Inc. and severed as its vice president for several years to get it started.

As I move through my family ancestors many of whom are buried in the McMasters Cemetery I may contact you again. Thank you for honoring so many families with your Find A Grave memorials.

John York, Find A Grave Memorial# 112583550
Hello Jenny Dené-Hotchkiss (#47344781)

Thank you for creating Find A Grave Memorial# 112583550 for my 2nd great grandnephew John York. He is a 15 year old boy according to the family Bible who perhaps died from a very poisonous bite of an aggressive copperhead snake that is abundant in that region.

I have submitted several edits for this Find A Grave Memorial for you to review. If I recall the stone has the inscription “John York” , “age 15” and then the death date of “Feb 1, 1816”. If you expand the photo perhaps you can identify some of the inscriptions.

Again this deteriorating tombstone is from the local Soapstone Mountain Mine. I would be very pleased to receive a transfer of this Find A Grave Memorial# 112583550 with a transfer to Dennis York #47405652.

Thank you for your consideration of this request.
Dennis York #47405652.

Find A Grave Memorials# 112570966 & 112570011
Hello Jenny Dené-Hotchkiss (#47344781):
Wow you have been busy creating Find A grave Memorials. I spent four years rescuing this McMasters Cemetery from a land developer and private land owners with lawyers. Many of ancestors and family people are buried in this cemetery. We have spent many days and years repairing and cleaning the tombstone and cemetery.

The entire row of tombstones that include the Find A Grave Memorials# 112570966 & 112570011 you created are made from the local Soapstone Mountain Mine. All of these are almost unreadable. In 2002-2004 we photographed all the tombstones and could read most of the inscriptions knowing what some of the names and dates were supposed to be from other records. It is truly sad to see these tombstones deteriorate.

Memorials# 112570966 & 112570011 are my 4th great aunt and uncle, Elinor York and Johnathan McCollum. I would be very pleased if these could be transferred to me, Dennis York #47405652 for continued maintenance while still honoring you as the original creator.

Thank you for your fine work and your consideration of this request.

Aldridge, Elizabeth
Memorial # 14413931

Jenny, thanks so much for the excellent headstone and cemetery photos you took at the Old McMasters Cemetery. At least two of my Aldridge ancestors, William and Elizabeth, are buried there. I tried some years ago to find a volunteer who would search for Elizabeth's headstone but had no success.

Would you give permission for me to post your 3 photos to the pages I have for Elizabeth on my Alldredge family tree on Ancestry? I would of course credit you however you wish. If you'd rather not have them there I'll just say thanks again, I had been told earlier that the markers out at McMasters were too far gone to pull any legible letters or names. It's also nice to see a sign has been put up and finally know who is tending the site.

Nice work!

Diane

Donegal Ireland Campbell's
As most I have hit a wall when I got to the point of getting from US to Ireland. I have traced our line back to a John Campbell who was born in Donegal Ireland in 1772. He was in Maury county Tenn. in 1789 where he got married and died there in 1820> His widow and most of family ended up in Southern IL. I welcome all help, I have had trouble getting on this site but glad I finally have it has been a help. Thank you

Not a problem. I had so much fun with these three, a little distraction. With all 3 of them together it only took a bit of investigation to solve the mystery and now some day family may be able to find them. Thanks for updating them.

Burials in Greenwood
Apparently emails on SACs are not going through since the crash. I just sent you some updates for 3 memorials in Greenwood. My SAC would explain how and what I found, but if you aren't receiving them, please let me know. I was so excited to put names to Georgie, Keeter and "Mother" and I confirmed with the cemetery this morning by asking for the burials by name.

Gilbert, Paul, and Francis Wright
I noticed that you have put photos of the gravesites in the Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego for PAUL WILLIAMS WRIGHT, GILBERT MUNGER WRIGHT, and FRANCIS LANG (LONG) WRIGHT. I am 99.99999% sure that Paul and Gilbert are the the two oldest sons of author HAROLD BELL WRIGHT. I am pretty sure also that Francis Long Wright is Harold Bell Wright's first wife. If the graves asre in the Cathedral Mausoleum Garden Court section, and the photos of the grave stones look as if they are in that area-then they are the graves of the first wife and first two sons of Harold Bell Wright. His second wife was Winnifred Mary Potter Duncan WRIGHT and his youngest son was Norman Wright. I did not find Winnie's grave mentioned and Norman Hall Wright (his youngest son) is probably buried in San Clemente, CA or Escondido, CA (home in San Clemente, ranch in Esclondido. Since Harold Bell Wright's memorial is maintained by find-a-grave I am not sure how Francis, Paul, and Gilbert would be connected. I sent email to Russ Dodge also concerning this. I AM NOT RELATED TO THE WRIGHTS-but I knew Norman and his wife Jean and I also know HBW's biographer as well as many others involved with HBW's heritage. I hope they can be connected some how. At the very least perhaps you could add some biographical information abot Francis, Gilbert, and Paul. I do not think I can and do not know that much. I know Francis is the one he dedicates his book SHEPHERD OF THE HILLS to. Paul was an actor but died at an early age. Gilbert was involved motion pictures and turning his father's books to the screen (although few ever followed HBW's books) and was a writer himself under a pen name (John LeBar I THINK but am not sure). I know more about Norman since he and his wife were friends of mine. But, he does not seem to be buried in Greenwood. Richard Moore (46615646)

Jenny,

I trumbled upon this website, and I see you uploaded/took a pic of my son's gravesite. Thank you for catching it when we had just given him some love. My heart swells, knowing that other can see he was a beautiful child that is sorely missed.
Thank you again:-)
