Of course. No credit needed. Just use the photos for the sake of his future descendants. This is a labor of love, on my part!!

RE: Memorial# 90456159 James Leslie Baker
I'm sorry to tell you that I don't have photos of the other members of your family. And I'm not sure why! All of the times I have photographed at Glen Haven I have walked along rows, shooting one after another (left to right or right to left), so I don't know why I would have missed one next to James Leslie Baker. I found his photo in my Glen Haven folders (shot 5-18-12), but the photos before and after his are Hicks and Micka. Could your others be in an adjacent row? Every time I photographed at Glen Haven I was with a group of friends and we would each take a row. Everyone was SUPPOSED to upload their photos and post them to Find a Grave, but it's possible that some did not finish the project. If you could write back with the names and dates of the people you are looking for I will TRY to get this group of friends to check their files.

I have already deleted Jesse Anna Brown. If you find where this "Little Angel" is buried, please post her. I thank you again for all of your sweet kindness.

I found her name on In seeing the cemetery as Little River, and in looking up all the Little River cemeteries in North Carolina, I took it was Little River in Transylvania County. I have looked, but have been unable to find an Andrew Brown or Beatrice Ruser Brown, except for their name attached to their infant daughter Jesse Anna Brown.
I will delete my listing, since this looks to be wrong.
Thank you for your e-mail.

In New Hanover County Library there are several books On Oak Grove Cemetery by Bill Reaves (his Family was interred there). My sources are death certificates and the moved headstone in Flemington Cemetery.

RE: William T Baker Memorial# 120609534
Not related at all to the best of my knowledge. Here is Sarah Love Baker's death certificate:

It gives her husband's name as W.T. Baker and her address as 252 Jeff Davis Street. The death certificate for W.T. Baker also give 252 Jeff Davis Street as the address. It is the same address as in the 1920 census, which list his full name William T. Baker.

In 1870 they can be found in Sumter County, SC, 1880 Atlanta, Fulton, GA.

Feel free to use the photo of the obituary.

Which database are using for the location of the graves within the cemetery? The William showing up in their database might be the William Baker who died at 33 years old and not your William T. Baker.

RE: William T Baker Memorial# 120609534
I have scanned the obituary from the 20 August 1925 edition of the Macon Telegraph. It is now posted to his memorial. Sadly the Telegraph is not online for anything after 1909. If it was I could spend days looking up more obits to add. That is also all of the obituary.

You might find his death certificate of value. It can be found here:

Best wishes!

RE: William T Baker Memorial# 120609534
They are one in the same person. The obituary is from the Macon Telegraph. I had a great aunt whose obituary appeared in the same issue, so I decided to create memorials for the people on the same page while I was at it since I already had the obituaries.

Would you like me to transfer the memorial?

Best wishes!

No problem with Ancestry. As soon as I have finished with Forest Lawn in Tabor City (About 1000 more) and Rose Hill in York (about 750 more) I plan to get back to Ancestry to combine what I've found in the cemeteries to the trees and will be posting these photo's there.

Sure that would be fine. Are you related to any of these people? I'm related to her thru my great-grandfather Sam Pink Cox. Also Mary's husband Lushion was my great-grandfather. His second wife Cora was my great-grandmother.

Hi Mary,

Yes, the family lived at 89 Brill Street in Newark, NJ. It seems he disappeared in or around 1928. He had a son, Sidney Jr. who also lived there.

Thanks for the info!

Kind regards,

RE: Memorial# 50162033 William T Baker
Hi Cousin!!

No I do not where that name came from. I have traced our lineage, with a few descrepincies, and I know the name Thomas goes all the way back to 1275 with Thomas Cornfurth Robert Baker who was born in Kent, England. Which Thomas is also my middle name, as well as my fathers and sons. I am a Jr but my son is not the 3rd.

Earlier I said Willie was my third great grandfather. He is actually my second.

Maybe that name came thru Maggie's family. I'll do a litte research on and see what I can find out.
