|Cary Coverdill||RE: Transfer request for Elkingtons|
No need to apologize!
I have not been active on F.A.G. for nearly a year, since my wife and I began losing all our remaining 3 parents last July. We hope to regain our composure at our eldest son's wedding in a few weeks, and then be able to get back to our 'normal' lives (minus our beloved 94, 95, and 96 year old parents.)
We appreciate your contributions and cooperation. If there is anything we can do in return, do not hesitate to ask.

|Cary Coverdill||Transfer request for Elkingtons|
Would you be so kind as to consider transferring the four Elkington's you have listed: David C, Ruth (Shaner), Henry Noel, and Sarah (Plumb) to me for linking and expanded biographies? They are the parents and grandparents of my wife's mother (Lenore Florence Elkington McNabnay) who just passed last week at the age of 96. David and Ruth are my wife's Grandparents, Henry and Sarah are David's parents.
We greatly appreciate your capturing and recording their headstones. We recently returned to Michigan and live near Detroit, but have not been to the West side of the state for nearly 30 years while we lived in Oregon. We hope to visit your area this summer.
Thank you very much,
Cary Coverdill h/o Suellen McNabnay

She was Minnie Bell Downes Bishop, born in Lott, Falls Co., Texas to parents Benjamin Rice Downes and Eva Mae Fleming. She married Kenneth R. Bishop.
I'm sending info if you want to add it to her site. She was my great uncle, Benjamin (Bennie) Rice Downes daughter.

I saw there was a problem to find the headstone of Elsie Boiten.
Elsie (Elsje) Boiten is born: 7-8-1880 Oosterdiep (Veendam) The Netherlands.
In 1920 she was still single (census 1929), 39 year old.
The adress was: Grand Haven Ward 2, Ottawa, Michigan
As far as I know she did never married.
If there is no headstone left: thank you so much for time by searching for her headstone.

|Volunteer Shelly||Welch and Landon|
Thank you for checking into this. I received copies of the records/slips from the cemetery from another family member, they have not been able to go to the cemetery themselves either. According to the slips Nellie and her parents (the Landons) are buried in Block G, Lot 6 but Nellie's husband John Welch was buried in Block S, Lot 6. The stones of the parents may have been removed for this larger Welch surname stone when Nellie died. Alfred died first, in the early 1900s. Nellie's mother outlived her by a couple years. Strange that Nellie's name would not be on it. They only had one child, Nellie and I don't believe Nellie and John had children. Looks like no one ever paid to have the names added to the stone. No grandchildren or children around to do so. I really appreciate your time and the photos you took. It's nice to find out these things, even if the answer is not what you expected.

Robert Heyn is in "lot 0, block A" according to the records of the cemetery found online. Inga is with her mother, Martha Heyn. There must not be a marker for her. I appreciate your help!
