RE: Ann Chesser # 11899611
I saw that, too, but can't find her as a Reyes... I was wondering if her mother married twice, so I'm looking in that direction, too.

Ann Chesser # 11899611
I found this marriage for Charles and Ann:

Name: Charles Chesser
Spouse: Ann Shirley Sulli
County of Marriage: Hillsborough
Marriage Date: 1944
Volume: 902
Certificate: 14816
Source: Florida Department of Health

Was she married twice?

Picture mix-up
The picture on memorial #43125835 needs to be put on memorial #46586362 The picture was accidentally posted on her daughter's memorial instead of her's. Since the both have the name Ada, I can understand where this could have happened. :)

I did the math. You can do the math if you want. If you get something different, then use it. It was late last night when I did the math, so I most definitely could have made a mistake! :)

RE: Bethel Cemetery
Ok. I was told that the two cemeteries were merged, so that is why there were doubles. I like to give the person who created the memorial the first chance to delete their duplicated memorial, before I report it to findagrave. I feel like I would be being a bad person if I did not give the creator of the memorial the first opportunity. I may have made a mistake. Thanks for looking. :)

RE: dyess research
Sorry, I don't have any documentation on these Dias's. I've been researching ours for quite a while and haven't made any connections yet. I'm pretty sure the Dias, Nichols, Driggers, and Lanier families in Sumter County tie into the families of the same names that I'm working on, but I have not figured out how yet. Still looking though. I've added your name to my email and I can keep you posted as to what I find out. ~ Camillia

Re: Rusian B. Bailey
Thank you for taking the photo of my great uncle RB Bailey's grave stone. It has helped me to add details to my family tree. I appreciate you taking the time to do this oh so very important work. I am very grateful and I'm sure that many other Bailey descendants are pleased that you've taken the time to complete the tasks that mean so much to the families. Thank you again----Bailey in Alabama

Martin Dies
Can you tell me why the spelling of your last name changed from Dies to Dyess? Also, the spelling of Martin's last name is Dies and not Dias. Are you able to make the connection from Martin Dies the Congressman to you? I have been trying to figure it out for quite some time and was hoping you could possibly help me fill in the blanks. Yours truly 5th cousin Joann :)

Martin Dies
You left a message on Martin's memorial indicating that you were family. Can you tell me how you are related to the Dies family. I am trying to fill in my family tree and any information you have that would help me would be greatly appreciated! :)

Kind regards

RE: Pictures of Samuel Fry
HI, Maybe I got confused on reading the messages. But I saw a message from Terry Teichert McDonald on June 18 2012 and I thought she was thanking you for a picture of Samuel Fry. But maybe it was someone else she was thanking. And I was thinking it was an actual picture of the man himself not the tombstone because I do see the picture of the tombstone out there. Samuel Fry 1795-1861. Gnadenhutten clay Union Cemetery.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Headstone Photo
Hi Mr. Dyess,

My name is Kat Breiding (ID #48365743) and John Wesley Carney is one of my ancestors. I happened across his memorial and saw you had taken a picture of his headstone in Brightwater Cemetery in Choctaw county, Alabama. May I copy this picture to my genealogy files in FamilySearch?

Thank you for your service with Find-A-Grave. Please know you've made a difference! :)

Mt Pisgah Cemetery - Quitman MS
I hope to get to this cemetery in May -- thinking there may be more Carneys and Satchers buried there (I was working off a list from many years ago). I see you just added some other surnames here.

RE: John Carney # 95394839
You tend to document people and cemetery graves as I do. Yes there are people looking for these graves and like me I may know they are from a certain county but have no clue as to where buried. People do not always let you know (or give thanks) that you have helped but I see my photos crop up on other web sites, so I know.

So a great big THANK YOU for these Carney photos.

RE: John Carney # 95394839
Thank you! The Carneys are my mother's mothers line and I have been looking for Carneys in Choctaw county for a long time. So was so excited to see the headstones you posted.
