Dear Deborah,

Do you manage your family memorial pages?
I would be pleased to transfer your Great-Great Grandfather, Peter Tufford's memorial page to you if you would like.
I belong to the DAR and try to post old military stones, as I find them, when doing cemetery work. This is a local cemetery and I am there quite often.
I post them for the families so this is for you and your family.
If I transfer I would like to have you leave my name on as the memorial creator. Please let me know.
Thank you.
Take Care,

You are welcome. I also took pictures near his grave and posted for Annie Fairbanks Chisom, Amiee Chisum Cook, and Ruby Cross (I think I remember it being in the Chisum Plot).

RE: Clayton & Willie Sapp Smith
I'm not sure if these were the only members of this family or not. On the left of Clayton were members of the Hodges family. On the right of Willie were members of the Graves family. These are the only 2 Smith's in this plot.

RE: Annie & Edward Smith
You are welcome. If you should like to have better photos, I will be happy to try. The graves are located where the sun's glare makes it hard to get a good shot. I could try again later in the year or early next year when it stays overcast a little bit. Just let me know.

RE: Horace Cobb
No problem. thanks for fixing it. I found his name was Horace Greeley Cobb. He was married twice, once to Launa Pry and once to Katherine Haynie. Son by the first wife was Horace O. Cobb Willey Posey and Estelle Wingfield Dixon.

I think that a close up look at the stone shows that the middle initial is G.

Otho is probably his son although there doesn't appear to be any more info.. Is there not a stone? Do you know who Philip Moore is?

Mattie A Lovelace Fairbanks
Hi Deborah!
I was looking at your Fairbanks in Sicily Island, Catahoula, Louisiana and noticed something I think needs to be fixed.
On the following page,
you will find listed Mattie A Lovelace as the mother of Henry O Fairbanks. I don't believe this to be the case, as Mattie was born in 1861 and Henry O was born in 1868. However, Henry O's mother was Mary V born 1837 in Louisiana and died between 1881 & 1883.
Henry's father, Henry Clay W Fairbanks (my 1st cousin 4x removed) married Mattie A Lovelace on 25 Dec 1883 in Sabine, Louisiana. They had at least two children, John Lovelace Fairbanks and Mabel Fairbanks.
Also, Henry O Fairbanks had a sister, Annie Laura Fairbanks that married Isham Russell Chisum Jr, brother of your Thomas Jefferson Chisum that was married to Kate Smith.

Olivers in Crittenden Memorial Park (Marion, Arkansas)

I was fulfilling a couple photo requests at this cemetery and remembered seeing a request for an Oliver, so I took pics of them before I claimed them as a request. Before I could claim them and post them, someone else had, lol. I have the photos if you are interested? I believe there are around 10 (?) separate headstones that I photographed. Have a great day!

I would like to comment on Yancy Edmonds memorial. I don't have any suggestions to contribute but I simply wanna ask you...

Are you and I related in some way?

I see that your maiden name is Edmonds.

If we are, I was wanting to simply ask ...

William Lee Edmonds.... do you have his father's name? any type of research of that kind?
