RE: William & Martha Berbaum
Thank you. I just recently found this web site and am trying to compile a list of our relatives. Being over 2,000 miles away I really appreciate help from people like you. Sharon

William & Martha Berbaum
I found William and Marth Berbaum listed in both St. Paul Lutheran and Redeemer Lutheran cemeteries in Wittenberg. They appear to be the same people, same birth and death dates. Can you tell me which one they are in.

William D Walker
Hello, I sent an email to Don some time ago but never heard from him. When I rechecked the page for Capt Wllm D Walker, I noticed that you added a new photo of a monument regarding W D Walker Company? Can you tell me what that is? Thanks.

My great-grandmother Persis Armina Sheldon was the second wife of Capt William D Walker; they were married at Harrisville, WI on 8 November 1857. They had a son born 1861, died 1862. He was most likely buried in the Sheldon cemetery in Westville. Or the same one as his father was buried in? Capt Wllm D Walker died of blood poisoning from a gunshot wound in his leg which he received at a battle in Virginia on 18 January 1864 [his widow's pension papers]. After his death, his widow Persis ["Mina"] returned to her native Vermont and stayed in Montpelier taking care of wounded soldiers through out the war. She remarried my great-grandfather Joseph T. Gowen of Washington, Maine on 9 April 1873. They had three children of their own. She died 30 January 1911 aged 71 of pneumonia at Morrisville, VT.

My distant cousins in Hyde Park, VT has a nice
photograph of Capt Wllm D Walker in his military uniform ca. 1861. I wish I had a copy to share with you, but I don't.

Hope to hear from you. Regards, Jonathan Twiss

Beilke
Greetings,

I was reviewing the Beilke Graves that you have and I believe that you have Herman Beilke
(122499967) connected to the wrong father.

I believe this Herman Beilke was married to Amelia Louise Paugel (98631629) and was the son of August F. Beilke (122499813). He had three children with Amelia before he passed away. I'll certainly share any information I have if you would like.

I know that Carl Beilke and Wilhelmina Graunke did have 2 sons that had the name Herman. The first was born around 1870 in Germany but it appears he never immigrated and the second it appears is already listed under the name Herman Gustav.

Are you releated to the Beilke family? I look forward to hearing from you! Kelly

John & Johanna Buelow
I've attached the gravestone picture for Aunt & Uncle Buelow (my grandmother's aunt and uncle). John is memorial # 107097636 and Johanna is memorial # 107097725. However, I would appreciate it if you could correct the death dates for them. John died December 26, 1940 and Hanna died August 4, 1940. You have their birth dates right.
Thank you,
LuAnn

So you went through the FHC pages already? Well, that's where I got the obit in the first place. No- I don't have the scanned page. I've been waiting for newspapers.com to add some Shawano & Marathon County papers - I've been waiting for years so I assume this won't happen anytime soon

I am looking for the grave of Hulda Hoefs Heller, wife of Frank Heller ( memorial no. 112994115). Hulda is thought to be at Wood Lawn Cemetery in Shawano Co., WI. Since you are the manager of Frank's memorial, I thought you might have seen Hulda's. I would appreciate any help you can give me in this matter. MaryAnn Sall
