Thank you for your search Mary. I do appreciate the photos that you attached. I will try to figure out if Robert is with his mother or has a separate location.
Much appreciation!

RE: Mary C Haskins
No, I am very sure I took it there. It was several years ago. That was the only location I photographed that month. Perhaps the stone was somehow destroyed? I know I photographed every stone in that cemetery because I was visiting my great-great-grandfather's gave I had just located. I hope this helps. :)

RE: Mary Haskins
From the close-up of the bottom part of the stone - death year ends in 55 so she had to die in 1855. I have issue with this person being buried in Double Branch since you brought this to my attention. I took 501 pictures of stones in Double Branch on Oct. 12, 2013 & in the listing of my pictures, I have only 3 Haskins - Margaret, John & Elizabeth. Also, in looking at my page copies of Double Branch from the 1980 Bates County Cemeteries book at our local library, it only lists these 3 Haskins. The Mormons walked the cemeteries here in 1980. And since then, volunteers for Poplar Heights Farm walked some and on their website ( click on research - click on Cemeteries of Bates County) they don't have Mary C. Haskins listed in that cemetery either. If I did have the picture, I would have gladly posted it. The day I took the pictures, I didn't have my garden digger with me, and went back on Oct. 23, 2013 to dig the bottom out on 2 stones and re-take the pictures to post.
You'll have to contact the picture taker of that stone and question where they took it. shows that she & Burton were living in District 6, Bates, MO in the 1850 census. You might check with the Butler Public Library at 660-679-4321 to see if she was listed in the 1960 D.A.R. Book of Double Branch - the Daughters of the American Revolution waked the cemeteries around here then. If indeed they say she is out there, I'll be glad to make the 18 mile trip and try to locate that stone.

RE: Becker
Thank you so much for your nice message. Yes, you can use the photos. I'm sorry it took so long to do the request for Jean. I was looking for her other married name instead of looking for Becker. Jean's parents are beside her if you are interested in them. Let me know. Carla :)

Hi, If you have the names of the Carrolls, let me know. I was walking there today and saw several stones with Carroll. I actually photographed them, I think. So I will be on the lookout for them.

Marrs lot - St Mary's in Salem MA
I found the lot for Marrs, but there were only 2 Military stones for James and John. I created a memorial for James, different birth and death dates than the existing memorial. I loaded a pic for John Marrs.

RE: Couture
The address of the cemetery is the corner of 23rd St. and Fairview Ave. in Parkersburg. (near City Park)
The contact person for the cemetery is Bill Ferguson 304-481-1440.

Hope this helps!

RE: Nathan Foote
Hi Mary, the inscriptions were already there and the info came from that book with the super long title listed at Nathan's memorial. More info came from Mary Jane's article and from Censuses when I was looking for info on their son Ralph, whose headstone birth year is off by 20 years. If you got a message about your request being fulfilled (which popped up for me when I uploaded the Census image) yes, you'll want to re-request a headstone photo. You're very welcome for the info. Lee

Exactly! Hopefully I put enough info at his memorial for his burial site to be found. He deserves to be remembered, wherever he now lies.

"It looks like a beautiful cemetery full of large monuments. May we please use your photos with credit to you on our private family tree?"

It is a beautiful old cemetery that is still very much in use; lots of mature trees and gently rolling grounds. And yes, you may use the photos and the credit is appreciated.
