Garland, not trying to be a pest, but I have visited another cemetery that is difficult to locate. It is called the Tomes Cemetery off of Powers Ford Bridge Road. It is also surrounded by private land.
If you need help in finding that one..................

My best regards,

Yes, I posted the pictures.
Go to www.tngenweb.org and look up the cemetery. I corrected the GPS coordinates on their website. There is a map detailing the correct location.
The easy access is from the property off Crawford, south of the cemetery. When I was last there I was told by neighbors that the property owner does not live close by so I took liberties and crossed over the fence. I did ask permission from the property owner due south of the cemetery for permission to cross their property.
This is a sad cemetery. It has not been maintained and free roaming cattle have almost obliterated it.
If you have more questions please call me at 615 390 2561. I live here in Manchester.

Garland, thank you for your input on Marcus. Considering that I posted the request for his gravestone photo back in September 2014 and haven't heard a peep one way or another, I don't have much hope that I will find out if he has a marker there or not. If I do ever hear from anyone, I will gladly let you know.
If you find out whether or not he is buried there or elsewhere, please let me know.

I am about to post the picture of the headstone for Mary E. Brady. I just wanted to let you know that the correct location in the cemetery is Block 59 Lot 3 Grave 5. The location you found is from a list that the DAR ladies created back in the early 1980s. At that time they did not have the actual location of the graves. They walked the cemetery and transcribed the headstones. They created their own map and grave locations. From what I have been told, they also sent the list to Rootsweb. While it's not completely inaccurate, it just gives a general area in the cemetery. It isn't very easy to find the exact grave as that location covers about two rows and from end to end of the block letter.

I've transferred all Lusk's in the Hillsborough Cumberland Presbyterian Church cemetery to you. If you find others, let me know and I will gladly make the transfers. Are you related to any of the Lusk's in Grundy County? I Posted a bunch in several cemeteries there. Judy

I was wondering if you could give me some references as to the death date of Richard Hansen Randall (our 3rd great grandfather). I am unable to find anything at all about his death or will except what you've stated here. Do you have any info? Thanks, cousin.

Sorry to tell you that I don't think they know exactly where his grave is located. He is listed in the Fairmount burials but there is a question mark after his name. This is a symbol for "no marker". It does not have any section or lot either. I could definitely take a picture of graves in the area where so many do not have markers but it would just be a guess. You might call Mr. Weaver at the city cemetery office and ask him if you have further questions.573 334-1917 He has helped me a lot. The cemetery lists are now on line if you also want to look it up. Google - Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation (it will be a blue page) Scroll to the bottom and click on cemeteries. Click on the one you want and then burials from A-Z. Good luck. Ruth
