You are very welcome. I enjoy helping others as others have helped me. No they are not together. Thamar and George are in section 4 and Harry and James are in section E. Section 4 is the older part of the cemetery and most of those are not listed on the directory so I had to get some help from the office. Luckily the guys were very nice and helpful.

I am not related to Lena. I requested a photo when I came across her memorial by chance one day. She was so young and I feel that her monument (if there is one) deserves to be photographed and added to her memorial. :)

|Rebecca Baker-Tinney||My Grandparents|
Roy H. Baker and Jo Helen Denby Baker are my grandparents. On your bio I saw that you said you were interested in the family you never knew. How are you related to the family? This is my Dad's parents and I don't know a lot about them and have not been in contact with my Dad in many years. I have always wanted to know more. Unfortunately, Roy passed away before I was born. I was lucky enough to know Jo Helen for a short time. Thank you so much for researching all of this information! I was pleasantly surprised to see all of this information pop up!

I also was contemplating writing a letter and complaining about the neglect of the markers. Not only were many of them overgrown with grass and weeds, there were three or four that were under trees that were so covered with mud that I couldn't even tell there was a marker there except for the corner sticking out from under all the mud. Seeing that saddened me deeply.
Also, not giving you info on your own family is ridiculous. Especially considering that social security death records are available online and include everything right down to the social security number.
I'd be happy to transfer management to you. I love having management of my loved ones memorials. Its just another way to do something special for them and make sure that they are never just left and forgotten.

I'm so glad I could be of help. I don't think I need the names because when I go to put pictures up I will see that they already have one and let it be. I don't know your relation to your family there but if you would like for me to transfer management of their memorials to you, just send me the memorial numbers.
Yes trying to get information from Westminster is like trying to get blood from a turnip. With that in mind, myself and 3 other volunteers have taken on the project of taking pictures and creating memorials for everyone there. We're doing it one section at a time. I have taken the approach of taking the photos for information only so that I can get the memorials created. Once I have the memorials in my section created, I plan to go back and clean up each marker and take a good picture that I feel is respectful and worthy of being posted. I must say that I am very disappointed in Westminster for a couple of reasons. One, they are not very cooperative and two, I don't feel like the markers and grave sites get the care and attention that they deserve.
What type of information were you asking for that they wouldn't give you? They are the only cemetery that I have run into problems with.
