Re: Lyda
It was my pleasure! I know the Garrett family, so it was not an issue with taking the pictures. I also tried to finish documenting the rest of the cemetery with pictures. I am glad to help preserve this heritage!

Mark & Liz Clayton
Lewis family in Dekalb, Al & Comanche, Tx
Hey, made the additions, links and transfers. Please stay in touch... We are related through Dorcas Fincher Lewis Killian to Burwell & Lucinda but I noticed that some of the other Lewis are buried in Comanche... I am very interested in this as several lines of our families came through Dekalb, Alabama and on to Comanche, Texas... always looking for new clues! ~ Mark & Liz Clayton

RE: Reply to Your Request
I think the discrepancy might be the 8 Aug 1922 date I have could be the actual burial date as opposed to her date of death.

Lewis-Walkers Chapel
Burwell and Lucinda have a shared stone. Looking AT Burwell to the right and next to Lucinda is William V. Lewis, 8/31/1880-9/25/1881. He is probably a son. Create a memorial and we will place the picture.

Thanks for responding. Maybe that would be better than no photo at all.

Thank you for the photo. Did you take a photo of his wife's marker? If so, please post it to her memorial.
