Holy Mount cemetery
I just called the cemetery to find out Rose's location and they said that she was not buried there. They also said that someone else had called earlier (probably you)? She told me that it is possible they they mixed the name up with the Mount Hope cemetery. I just called there but with issues with the storm, they seem like they are having some problems right now and are only talking to people about burials.

Rose Gilhooley
I found the info for Rose (and the other Gilhooley's) on It is a free website that has many newspapers, from mostly New York. The specific newspaper is called "The Daily Argus", which is a Mount Vernon, newspaper. It is dated 27 March 1911. The article mentioned that she had a neice named Mrs. Thomas Tobin, who lived in Scarsdale, NY at that time. , at that time but I am unclear as to what city she was living in then. Rose's address was 202 South 4th Street I can e-mail you a copy of the newspaper if you give me your e-mail address.

I found a few Gilhooleys (including several James') with their death dates and burial info and posted them on ancestry. One of the James Gilhooley's was in listed in a Brooklyn newspaper and it stated that the wake was in Elizabeth, NJ and the burial was at (only the last few letters can be read-I believe they are beth or peth). So I believe he was either buried in Elizabeth, NY or in Magpeth (I believe it is called) in NY. Ido not recall the name of the cemetery. I posted it last night but you can type in Gilhooley under my name and names I have posted.
I also found some Gilhooleys that were buried in a St John's cemetery. The newspaper was also a Brooklyn, newspaper. I think that there are two possibilities in Brooklyn. One is a St. John's (that does not have many names posted in it-as of yet) and the other is a St John (that I believe has a lot of people buried there).
I also posted a few other Gilhooley's that were buried in other locations.

Johanna Cronin
I see that you had added her name and got her death certificate. I was wondering if any of "your" Cronin's lived in Yonkers? I do not think (right now) that I am related to Johanna but there are a lot of Cronin's in my family tree.

It was our pleasure to get Marge's photo for you, Kevin! Sounds like she was quite a woman! This was our first time in this beautiful little cemetery and it was a perfect summer afternoon to be there.
