Karen Hillhouse
The info and links have been added to the memorial for Karen Hillhouse. Thank you for the info and if there is more, just let me know. See you have family in the Lone Star Cemetery. I have many members of my family buried there. Cordilla Hemphill married Charles Augusta Lambert and he is my great uncle. Small world.

Thank you...
Thank you for your wonderful offer... but, Find a Grave goes around and takes off all of the medals, etc. that people have posted on my sites. I wish they wouldn't.. they look really GREAT on their sites..

Thank you again,

H. Newlin Reynolds
Hi, Gaylon.

I have entered the information that you provided for the Reynolds. Thank you very much. Sorry about the middle name is Louise, so I think I was absent mindedly typing!!! I would be happy to copy the obituary over to Lois's memorial if you can get me the name of the paper and the date of publication so we can follow Find A Grave's rules about posting those.

Thanks again and have a blessed day!

You are welcome. I'm sorry for your loss. I have lost several classmates and it is always hard.

RE: William Ashby
My pleasure. The 'foliage' decoration on right side still held water when I photographed this am. If you wish, I can photograph again sometime when I'm over there doing other requests and the stone is dry.

I did not like the first picture that I posted for Melissa, I took another and posted it. Much better picture.

Thank you so very much!
Thank you for fulfilling my photo request for LCDR Fred Albert Neth.

Please, do add his medals... I just hope that they get to stay...Find A Grave lady has been e-mailing me with the names of the MIA's where she takes off patches, medals.. she even took off family photos and that was the last straw.. I e-mailed her back and ask her why... was she deleting family photo's that I or family had posted.

She never got back with me... but, she did stop messing with my sites of the MIA/KIA Vietnam hero's... Anyway... yes, please post.

Martha McConnel Hemphill: Pellville Cemetery
Pellville Cemetery, Vermillion County, Il: all markers in cemetery are posted on Find A Grave. No other visible markers are present. The cemetery has been visited many times, in all seasons to ensure all markers were recorded. I'm sorry, but if she is buried there, no marker remains. You note in her bio that she lived in Ford County, Illinois with her son. Could she be buried elsewhere since this cemetery is in Vermillion County?

Cathy Ferrell DeNu
Hello, Gaylon
Thanks for the message. Zoe and I have corresponded for years and years, (in fact, long ago she wrote me before the home computers! hahah) and if you're related to her, then you're related to me!! My connection is thru the line of James Harrison Hemphill.

Have seen your work on and you have done a great job!

If I can help with anything, please don't hesitate to write. My tree is private and much is unavailable now.

Great hearing from you.

He was transferred to you. It was a honor and privledge to place him on findagrave and even more a honor to transfer him to someone who will take care of his site.

I flipped the photos. Let me know if I did not do it right. For that matter, let me know if you would like to me transfer this hero to you.

RE: Bessie Erma Parrish

You are welcome. It is indeed 1880. Those three Parrish stones were right together, and all three were extremely difficult to photograph. It is good to get photos now, because in a few decades they won't be legible at all.

RE: Peterson
No problem, I love to help people! I meet so many nice people this way. ( And then there are others!)

Added by Ermadean on Jan 13, 2011 3:36 PM

Sorry, I walk the cemeteries camera in hand and take pictures of all the readable stones and post them on Findagrave. I know nothing about most of these people. I had a Pearl Tanner in my personal Family Tree. That is where I got off base. Sorry I couldn't be of help.

RE: Peterson Family
Hi Gaylon, sorry I don't know anything about the Petersons. My family are the Greenbanks, Crawfords, Osborns, Crandalls that are buried at Bean Cemetery. Cathy

Added by Cathy Kessinger on Jan 13, 2011 2:01 PM

I'm sorry, how are you connecting me with the Petersons? You have me lost, but that isn't hard! I work on so many family trees and so many cemeteries. Give me a little background and maybe I can help.

Added by Ermadean on Jan 13, 2011 9:51 AM

Pearl Tanner
I know nothing about the Tanners.

Added by Ermadean on Jan 13, 2011 9:25 AM

Pearl Tanner
I'm not sure we are talking about the same Pearl Tanner. The Pearl Tanner in my family history was Pearl Pistole who married Carl Tanner. My Pearl was the daughter of Glen Pistole who was a cousin to my father.
