Yes, you may use my photo if you give me credit. I think I did that photo for Whitney family genealogy I started for the Winchendon Historical Society. Sorry for the delay in granting you permission. I have not used my regular log in, in awhile. I have been concentrating on work at the Veterans cemetery in Winchendon lately.

RE: David Willard Headstone Photo
Yes, that is fine to use my photo with proper credit. It is unfortunate the stone has split. There are a number at this cemetery in this condition.

RE: James B. Halley
I don't remember now what I originally asked you about since it has been quite a while so I may repeat myself with this message. But, I have a Kiziah Epperson (not sure of the spelling. I've seen it spelled Keziah, Kesiah, Kizziah, Kassia etc. She was my great great great great grandmother. She was married to James Bluford Halley (who was not my ancestor) and to Isaac Abraham Goin (who was). Anyway, in at least one place she had Boster like a middle name. I am not sure about her parents, but I have them as William Epperson and and Nancy Vine Hicks. If you can tell me anything about the Boster in her name that would be a fantastic help. And, sorry if I asked you this already!

Have a nice day!

Hi Martin,

According to a webpage linked to the University of Virginia, the image is not a painting, but an early photograph. It was labeled "E. S. Field, mid-1840s. Daguerreotype colored by the artist." If you would like to check is out, the website is

I would LOVE to see the picture you have. Thanks for contacting me! It must be very exciting to have a famous artist in your family history.

Tell me if you get my many emails! LOL

RE: White Family
Super! I will email you in the next couple of days. I have them on the computer at work. There are far too many pictures to upload to the page. I've already cropped them but I still need to rename them and write explanations for you. Sorry it took so long. They've been on the camera since last year and I totally forgot them. I was able to take photos on the first floor of the mansion, but haven't got access to the inside of the Carriagehouse.

RE: Paine Headstone Photos
Hi Martin
You can absolutely make copies of those photos. I took them to fulfill a photo request. I additionally took photos of 2 additional Paine family members, Willmarth and Marion Paine but the gentleman who had made the photo requests did not want them and so I just created the memorials. These are not related to me so if you would like them, I would be happy to transfer them to you.
Thank You
Judy Miller

RE: Katherine L. Prince
I have transferred her memorial to you. I'm glad it found someone that has information on her and can update it properly.

Please use my photos in any way you see fit.

This cemetery is a tough one. It has not been well maintained and many of the markers are missing, never placed, or are badly damaged. In addition, the original burial records were lost in a fire making it impossible to identify many of its residents. I don't see any other "Prince" in the list of known plots so you may be out of luck.

BTW, I work right next to the White mansion and can get newer/closer photos than the one I put on the memorials. That photo was taken a decade ago, before the Cleve. Clinic had the stone cleaned. Also, there's a matching outbuilding behind it. I have also been inside the mansion. It's a modest but lovely house. I may be able to get them to let me in and take inside photos for you...let me know.
