Debi,

I assume you mean Riverhurst Cemetery... not Riverside. I don't think that the graves are next to each other. I typically take and add the gravestones in the order they are in the cemetery. there were quite a few added between the two. That doesn't mean they aren't related. The office at Riverhurst was very helpful when I had questions. I would suggest you contact them and ask if they are related.

Regards,
Paul

Thank you very much for taking the photograph for me.
Perhaps you could add memorials for the other individuals named on the headstone?

Hi Debi, Thank you so much for the pics. I'm hoping to get up that way soon but this really helps. If I could ask one more favor: Since Alan's wife (Find A Grave Memorial# 86669752) is also on the headston, could you please put the picture on her memorial too?
Thanks again

re Ira
re your request for Ira's gravesite pics (Johanessburg Cemetery)
I dtive by that place on my way to see my mother who lives way up in Lake Isabella. Johanessbrug is a virtual ghost town (assuming you know its Old California history) and is desolate and waaaay out in the boonies (desert). I can't promise WHEN exactly, but on my next drive up to see mom, I will stop and get pics for you. Promise.

Stephen Barneby
Greatsinger Family
Hi,

I see from your correspondence with Chuck Metcalfe that you have some relation to the Greatsinger family. I am related to them through my g-g-g grandmother Susan A. Greatsinger.

I have been trying to figure out the family situation of William Greatsinger, Susan's father. He had at least two wives, possibly three.

You are welcome for the pictures, glad I could help.

I see I wasn't paying very good attention when I added Henri & W. Almon Judd's memorials. Obviously, they were not children of Almon's first wife, since she was deceased at the time of their births.

I believe that the Mary Greatsinger that you are looking for is buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira. Check out the listing at: http://www.joycetice.com/cemc/wl88p037.htm
That source is reliable enough that you could add a Find A Grave memorial at Woodlawn and request a photo. I will get around to getting photos there one of these days, if someone doesn't beat me to it.

There is a also a reference to Almon and Mary Stoll's marriage on Mar 7, 1867, located at:
