I have sent some automatic updates and they have not yet been completed. It is a relatively new way to update and perhaps you are unfamiliar with it. The tab is on your profile page in the upper right hand corner. It reads "Edits."

Thank you in advance,

RE: Georgia Bailey
Dear Larry,
The picture I posted on Georgia's memorial is a photo that originated from Floyd's family, either his sister Monnie or from Floyd's parents, not sure who.The picture was labled Georgie. The people in the group photo were identified to me by Beachel Bailey,Floyd's nephew. He listed the woman as Georgie, but you are correct in noticing that the resemblance is not there between the two photos.I think Floyd may have had a 1st wife and that she is the woman in the group photo.I posted the group photo on several memorials and usually I posted that I was not certain of the lady's identity since she did not look the same as the photo I have of Georgia.I hope this helps. My beloved mother-in-law died in 2011 and she left me with a lot of pictures and I have tried so hard to find the families of these people and get them copies.I hope this helps, and anything else just let me know.
Take care,

Lillian Williams Vanallen
Thanks again for your wonderful work.

Do you know anything of of William Vanallen, spouse of Lillian Williams Vanallen?

She died in 1910 about a month after the birth of their daughter, Helen Arlene Vanallen Jackson.

I cannot find him after the 1910 census. Helen went to live with relatives almost right away after the death of her mother Lillian.

I visited Pherdun Cemetery today. A very nice gentleman, Mr. Dayton, saw me wandering and came from a house across the road to help. He had charts and books on the cemetery. Very helpful.

Take care.

Lillian Williams Vanallen
Hello. Great work you have done! It's been very helpful.

My children are connected to the Williams tree.

Grandmother was Marilyn Arlene Jackson Sears. Her mother was Helen Arlene Vanallen Jackson. Her mother was Lillian Williams Vanallen. Her father was Richard Gilbert Williams. His father was Aaron Williams.

Interestingly, although I did not know the family history at the time, I named one of my sons Richard Aaron.

I knew Marilyn and Helen very well. They were terrific ladies. I saw a picture of Lillian's mother yesterday. Been doing so much research recently that many of the ancestors have been visiting me in my dreams.

Wierd thing happened on my visit yesterday in the home where I saw the portrait. I haven't visited that particular house is a very long time. Two family deaths have occurred since the last time I was there. When I was leaving, we noticed the old family grandfather clock had stopped. It stopped on the time it was when I had arrived. The clock never stops. Spooky.

Just wanted to say hello.

Take care. Jeannie

Do you happen to know what the writing on the metal marker next to the gravestone in the photo you took is for?

Hey Larry, I went to look for Blanche Schrader and you were right. There is no marker for her headstone, I posted a pictureon her memorial of the area where her marker would be. There is like a 6 to 8 foot section that is blank between headstones and she should be in this spot. I prodded around with a foot long prod and didn't hit anything that felt like a marker of any sort in that blank section. Sorry.

Hello, no the two cemeteries are not the same. I am apt to believe the correct one is the Rose Hill Cemetery. I have added the memorial, but another volunteer has added the photo. She is very familiar with the Eaton Co cemeteries.
