Marie Hart
Hello Alice,
Is there any chance that Marie Hart was also known by the name Victorine? I found this plaque in row F but did not find a Marie anywhere nearby. Dates 1901-1994. Regards,
Ed

RE: Sr. M.Aloysuis Lynch
Sorry Alice....I was speaking of the picture of the tomb stone.

Maybe it is just my iPad as I noticed one other was turned too.
Sorry to bother you. It is great you have added some names. I happened to visit there last week while going to lunch with my 3rd grade teacher. I live in NC so now have returned home. I was lucky enough to visit the gravesite of a few other teachers.
Thanks for responding. Eileen

Robert Lee Copper - 71040507
I was wondering if I could ask you to remove 1 of the pictures you posted on this memorial. I recently noticed that it is for the wrong person. It is the very first picture on the memorial & it is for a Robert L. COOPER instead of Copper. (The other 2 are correct). Thank You!

Thomas Alden Frazar (2), born Jan 7, 1813 in Duxbury, Mass., died June 23, 1890 @ 77 yrs, 1st. U.S. Tax Assessor in Oregon (appointed by Pres. Lincoln during the Civil War) to support the War effort. Married twice. Died in Forest Grove after the death of his second wife. At the time he was post master for the town. The death of his second wife brought great sorrow to him. During the Civil War much gold was being brought out of OR. Thomas was to make sure it did not end up in Confederate hands. Buried in Lone Fir Cemetery, Portland Oregon.

Under agreement with his brother Amhearst he came alone to Portland, Oregon with the complete material for a two story building that would house a store. It is my understanding it was the third store in the town. He was to operate the store and send shopping lists to his brother. He lived on the 2nd. floor of the store. His family remained in Mass. during the early years of his life in Oregon.

He and his family were founding members of the first Unitarian church in Portland. His children carried on as active members.

Lucy Drew, married Capt. Charles Evans

Mary Brady
I found the only Brady in the cemetery but it does not have no names and dates. It says Brady on top and then Father and Mother on the side. I took a picture of it just in case you wanted it. I believe there was one next to it but its not very readable. A lot of those headstones almost needing to be rubbed to be able to read it.

Martin Burrell
Samuel Frazar
Hello,

I sent information to your e-mail account. It listed all Samuel Alden Frazar's children. Your record is incomplete.

I am in a direct descendant of his son, Thomas Alden Frazar through his daughter Rosetta Frazar. She was married to Martin Strong Burrell. They all lived in Portland, Oregon at the time of their death and for many years prior.

I grew up in Portland and my father was Douglas Montgomery Burrell.

Thomas A. Frazar's family Bible is in my library. As is Martin S. Burrell's family Bible. Also, I am in posession of the "Family Register".

Thomas A. Frazar was an active and important member of early Portland. Upon arriving in Portland he first set to work building a two story wood building that was to become a mercantile shop on first street next to the Willamette River. During the Civil War he was appointed to collect federal taxes by the Lincoln administration. He was also active, at this time, with raising local support for the "North" and with keeping gold and other materials out of southern hands. [A great amount of gold was being mined in Oregon and sent out of state].

Thomas and his family were founding members of the first Unitarion Church of Portland, Oregon.

I also listed information for the other Frazar family members buried there.

I am very sorry that you did not get my email.

Sincerely, Martin Strong Burrell

Florence Mulligan
The Ohio death certificate for Florence Frances Mulligan died October 28, 1915, states that she is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Butler Co, OH. Since her parents are buried there, she probably is also. Have you contacted to cemetery to see if they have record of her burial? You should go ahead and create her memorial in that cemetery and link her to her parents.

I'll try to do some more research on it too. I've done a little bit on everyone out there (some more than others), so I'll go through again in case I missed something.

RE: aldrichs
Thank you so much for transferring Mary Blanchard to me.
I was wondering which of Jacob's & Mehitable's children is in your line. I may have pictures or letters I could share with you. Jacob's & Mary's son Valentine had a great sense of family and kept things. Also his 2nd wife, oldest daughter and oldest granddaughter were all into genealogy. All of these records and family treasures have found their way down the line to me.

RE: Aldrich
My 3rd great grandfather, Valentine Aldrich, is the only child of Jacob & Mary (Blanchard) Aldrich to survive. Could you maybe be convinced to transfer Mary to me? I would love to add some of the info from the family bible.
