RE: Irene Ward Gish Duckworth
Randy: Like so many of my "upstream" relatives, especially when photography was just becoming popular, the only photos I have that deal with them are of headstones or cemeteries that I get through Find A Grave or public member family trees in Ancestry.com. I doubt very much if I could be of any help to you in identifying any member of the Duckworths. The earliest photo I have of this branch of my family is dated 1966. Wish I could have helped you.

RE: Irene Ward Gish Duckworth
Randy: I can't find Irene Ward Gish Duckworth in my family tree and need your help in order to answer your inquiry regarding your photo identification. Could you give me the dates of birth and death of Irene? Also where she was born. It would help also if you could identify which Duckworth she married. I have over 1,000 Duckworths in my family tree so you understand my problem. Thanks, Holland St John

Original Sights Cemetery
Randy,
I sent you a private message with information on where I believe the original Sights Cemetery is located. I live almost 7 hours away, so any assistance you could lend in locating it would be greatly appreciated. I have made 4 trips back home to Kentucky to try and locate it, but have not yet been able to get permission to go on the farmland where I believe it to be. Good luck!

RE: Handley. Photo
You are welcome for the photo. I've decided to photograph the entire Cemetery. I think that will be easier than trying to find certain headstones.

Hi, Randy. Not sure if he's a relative, though he was in the same area as my Websters, that's for sure. Yes, I'm on ancestry.

RE: Duane Robards
Randy,

I don't have anything from his first wife but his second wife, Britte was a sister to my gGrandfather. I have a message my Mom sent me about what she remembered of him. It's quite long so if you can give me an e-mail I will forward what she wrote about him.

Hi,

What more info are you looking for. My Mom is secretary of the cemetery and has all the records. She also puts a copy of the obituary with each card in the file if it was available. She also knew most everyone in the cemetery or their family.

Hope I can help.

Randy, So sorry for the delay, my computer had a problem just after your email and now it is fixed. The only information that I have on Andrew Burgess Eastwood is what is posted in the "flower & note" section of find-a-grave. He was the father of Andrew Burgess Eastwood Jr who married one of my Ackermann kin. I have information on that family but nothing more on Sr. Sorry, Beverly

Duane Robards
Hi,
I didn't know of Duane but he under the same stone as Mittie Robards. Is she your grandmother?

I can ask around with some of the older neighbors to see if they knew of him if you want me to.

RE: 40788483 Pleasant Valley
I do not have the exact location of the Handley's in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Perhaps the lady who took the picture of Bea & her son Irvin's tombstone can tell you the exact location. If not her, then perhaps the people who run the cemetery or maintain the cemetery. There is a good possibility that George H. Handley does not have a tombstone. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. The USGenWeb website has a listing of occupants of the cemetery and Geo. H. Handley is listed as being there. The transcription was done by Nancy Jankowski and it lists her email address as leeg@thegrid.net. Perhaps she can tell you. With the number of people in this cemetery, they have to have someone who maintains the records who could tell you. Good luck.

Louis Keller

Randy,
In addition to my previous post,
about the only information I
can add is that
Louis Keller married
Martha Duncan Hanley/Handley
on Jan. 25, 1860, Union Co., Ky.
They are in the 1870 census of
Webster Co., Ky. as follows:
Louis Keller - 26
Martha 36
Sarah 10
Mary 6
Andrew 2
John Hanley 17

George Hanley 15 - is living in
household nearby.

I think I saw an obituary or something
on Andrew Keller but can't find it in
my records or by searching on line.

I don't know where they are buried.

Wish I could be of more help and
would appreciate any more that
you find.

George Handley transfer to you
Randy,
I transfered George Handley to you.
We might be kin somehow on the Duncan side?
Here is my connection.
My G. Grandfather, John H. "Jhue" Keller
married Martha Francis Freels (G. Grandmother)
"Jhue" Keller was brother to Lewis Keller.
Martha was daughter of Francis Duncan Freels
Rames. Francis was sister of Martha Duncan
Handley Keller.
Francis and Martha were daughters of and
named in will of Elijah Duncan. (I have copy
of will if you need)
Lewis Keller was in Civil War, Johnson's
Partisan Rangers, CSA.
Sorry to say that I do not have any info on
George Handley's wife.
Would welcome and thank you for any
information. This is kinda complicated.
Always happy to share.

Overfield
The Overfield I have at Shady Grove is Edward (1878-1959) I have his wife as Alma Crowley Overifeld, but nothing on her.

As for his brother Fred (his twin) I have him dying in 1972, but no burial information at this time. I show his wife as Belle.

The Overfield line is very confusing with a lot of inner marriage and no one seems to have the same information....so it is hard to know what is really correct.

My second great grandmother was an Overfield who married Abraham Angevine.

Nope, sorry.
I was going through a list of that cemetery one day and came upon those Tripletts and put them on. I worked with a Triplett many years ago and thought that it might help someone in his family.

Hi Randy.
The best way to contact relatives is to have some memorials on Find A Grave. That is how I have made several connections.
Happy Researching, Bud
