My pleasure my husband grew up with Pete McGowan who married one of my husband's cousin's. Not sure yet how that all fits in but it sure is fun putting the family puzzles together. Eileen

You're certainly welcomed, Michael...quite a few Shaners there, and hope to find a couple more that were requested soon ~ :°)

Transfer done!! I was happy to create the memorial and when I saw that his mother was a Shaner, well, I just felt that the memorial needed to be in the hands of a family member.
I'm also thankful for the name correction. With my arthritic hands I make mistakes and don't always see them.
Many blessings ~ Solange

Esther McFeeters Shaner was my mother's 3rd cousin. My g-g-grandfather, Neri Boyer, married Mary Mitchell, sister of Esther's g-grandmother.

You are welcome. Are you related to Fred Shaner who married Esther McFeeters?

|Kim Rumbarger Talboo||Shaners|
I transferred all of the Shaners I had found and listed. If there are any additional people that I've added to the cemetery that are of interest just let me know. The inscription book helps but now I'm anxious to photograph as it doesn't look like too many of the stones have been entered on Find A Grave.
Once the weather clears I plan on paying my visit.

I think I have found your relative buried in the Zion Union Cemetery, Venango County. Please take a look and see if this is part of your family. I just recently transcribed the entire cemetery using an inscription book and my goal now is to get it photographed.

|gone_fishing - unless_you_email||Florence Ford Gulvin|
It turns out that Oressa Florence Ford Gulvin is interred on the same plot as her parents without a stone.
Hyperlink: Florence Ford Gulvin, 1889-1958
Her spouse was Charles E. Gulvin. They had at least two daughters. I've got married names for the two daughters if you want to contact by email. There are multiple Charles Gulvins in Ontario County, so haven't figured out a memorial for her spouse, who appears not to be interred in Woodlawn.

I just received a note from a lady who said there is no St. George Catholic Cemetery where I have this memorial placed. You added a photo so my question is where did you find the marker if there is no such cemetery? She wants me to put him in as "cremated" with no burial place. I don't want to change it until I hear from you if you can help with correct placement.

|R. Eve Chamberlin||Cornelius Charles Shaner|
Does anyone have the final resting place for Cornelius Charles Shaner (Schoener) born 15 may 1834 ir 35 in Lehigh PA and died 26 Dec. 1893 in Cranberry Venango PA. Also would like to know if he was a Civil War Soldier; there is a Cornelius Shaner b. 1838 from Westmoreland but he is a different guy. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
