Henry C. Catlett - Thank you for adding this material to his memorial.
It seems that no one had entered the known victims of the epidemic except those with individual markers, as Henry's was.
Thank you for your contributions to Find A Grave.

|Dexter Taylor||Clarence Burchfield|
it's been pointed out that Clarence Burchfield is listed in Fairview Cemetery by you and also in Antioch Cemetery (a few miles away) by me. He was probably moved, but from where to where? My info is from the list of burials at the library in Marshall which I checked, somewhat, on site. Didn't check every one - did you actually see a marker? His death cert. says buried Sweet Springs, so...

Hello, I noticed on your biography that you listed Pendergraft as one of your family lines. Also, I noticed that you posted a photo of Joseph Lindon Pendergraft. I am related through Joseph's brother, George Irving Pendergraft. Feel free to email me. We might be able to compare notes. Thanks, Luke

Wyatt Francis Payne ROGERS CEMETERY
I'm sorry to say, I don't find a Physical Marked headstone with that name on it.
There are several there VERY old , Severely Weathered Stones that are unreadable.
Some have fallen due to weather also & reclaimed by Nature.
I being a semi Care taker for the Rogers Cemetery, located outside of Gallatin, Missouri.
I live in Chicago, Illinois & care take on my Vacations.
PLEASE note : Many of the OLD ORIGINAL stones
were WEST WARD facing. into the weather. Made of Local Limestone & subject to weather are are too badly worn.
I know this is not what you want to hear.
There is also a 3 piece Payne Headstone , that fell down many years ago.. Someone placed the three pieces together. Only semi name is PAYNE that is readable.

|parris hobbs||Vincent Hobbs|
Hello! I am a direct descendant of Vincent Hobbs. You added his burial records in the Debusk Family Cemetery in Lee County, VA. He died in 1808. I am from Ohio and did a genealogy trip to SW VA this week to find the cemetery and his grave. I made it to Dryden, VA in Lee County, but no one could help me find this cemetery. Online I found it said 2 miles below the Debusk Mill, but I found no one who knew where that was. Can you help me locate this grave?! I will have to come back to the area soon on a later trip.

|Grim Reaper||RE: Richard and John Payne|
I have found three books for the Payne(Paine)
1.The big Payne book written in 2007 by John C Payne(this book start with name P A I N E but then in 2nd generation it is spelled P A Y N E.It starts with the Paine(Payne) in Scotland then in Mass, and Virgina, North Carolina.
2.The Paine's of Virgina, written 1936 by ***** Payne
(i have not finish with this book yet)
3.The Payne Family 1836 by **** Payne,(it is the family bible of the Payne's. It also start with the Paine(Payne)'s in Scotland and end with Payne in Charlotte,Mecklenburg, N.C.
When i looked and study all three books they have the same persons name but different dates and place,some have children that others don't and name wife's first or second that other don't.
so i decided to go with the family Bible because it was the oldest and who more would know about their family then the family bible.I'm not related to any Paine(Payne)'s I was just try to put some family members together and add some information about that person's on F.A.G.,. The Paine(Payne's)were one of the largest family in North and South Carolina between 1600 - 1800.so there are a lot of history records on them i just don't have enough time in the day to look at all books and papers.

|Jan Dahlquist||RE: John Payne|
this should be fun- John Payne and wife Margaret (maiden name ? Robinson or Jennings) had son William 1652-1698. William and Elizabeth Sarah Pope had son William 1692-1776. William and Alicia Jones had son William 1724-1782. William and Susannah Clark had son Duval (many different spellings) 1764-1830. Duval and Hannah Innes Brent had daughter Alicia 1809-1888. Alicia and James Boude had daughter Susan 1842-1924. Susan and Simon Hageman had daughter Vashti 1874-1953. Vashti and Ellis Oblinger DeCamp had daughter Margaret DeCamp 1909-1990. Margaret and Grant Heap had daughter Marysue born 1939. Marysue is married to Richard Dickmann, brother of William Dickmann, my brother-in-law. I began tracing the Dickmann family just recently as William's adopted son Michael, my nephew, recently died suddenly at the age of 40, leaving a wife, age 25, (just married August 24th). She is expecting and I hope to give her a detailed family tree so the expected baby will know it's family roots even though it's father is gone. Sure am appreciating all your help- you appear to have the most correct info.

Wow! Appreciate the info. There are 25 trees with him on Ancestry, 23 of them have him born in Fairfax, 1 just in Virginia and 1 in Rappahannock County. Hard to know which is correct. I'm looking at him as a distant relative of my brother-in-law's family. Will take your info as correct!
