RE: Kennedy Memorial
I was quick to inform them I am a FindaGrave volunteer and showed them my business card showing it. They were very nice to me since then :-D

RE: Kennedy Memorial
They were surprised at the large list, but they did accomodate me and just gave me the section and lot number. I went there and just found on my own because of my experience in locating lot markers.

Kennedy Memorial Gardens
The cemetery is quite large. I'd be happy to take the pictures you've requested, but if you could call the cemetery and get the plot info that would be helpful.

Cemetery offices
For the big cemeteries I go to the office and ask. They are always really nice and it makes it easier to find. At least for the big cemeteries, there is usually fulltime staff, especially if they are still burying people. If it is a small church cemetery or something like that, there is usually not anyone there so you will have to wonder around. But I say if there is an office go and ask because sometimes you can get more a lot more interesting information. Hope this helps! :o)

Yes, someone sent me the plot info. Can't remember who. Congrats on getting those memorials transferred to you from the Administrators!

I think we are good now. I was able to get the picture off and it looks like you got it one the right one. The cemetery is huge-500 acres-so I will try and find the others as well.

William Barrett
As you can see i put the wrong picture with Curtis Walker. He is the one with the unmarked grave. William Barrett is the one whose headstone i took a picture of. You will need to switch it, I tried but I think you have to do it. Sorry for the confusion.

RE: Rest Haven Cemetery, Griffin, GA
Rest Haven is located next to Stonewall & the new section Of Oak Hill. Rest haven is not marked by any signs but if you go during the week, pull into the office and they will explain where Rest Haven is. It is a bit confusing. There is a big section of Rest Haven I have not got. I plan to finish it soon but there is a white dog that keeps getting out of the fence and he is not a sweet one. Please, be careful if you visit. I hope this helps!

Take care,
Rebekah Young

My suggestion is to try emailing them again. But this time, put the file paths (not the memorial #s) to each of the 13 memorials in the email along with the proper cemetery for each one. Then they can click on the file paths and go instantly to the memorials that need correcting. With the burial information plus the file paths, this makes their job MUCH easier and they can do the corrections for you very quickly. It has worked for me every time. Good luck to you.

RE: burial info
some of them could use new bios -- I started to do it, but really didn't have enough info to do a good job on all of them -- great work you are doing!!

Re: Burial Information you'd like added
If you have burial information you wish to add, but are not getting a response from the original creator, contact the Administrators at Find A Grave and they will make the corrections, or possibly transfer the memorials to you if you are a qualified family member. You may contact them at Best wishes to you!

Welcome to Find A Grave!
You'll find that this is a wonderful place to memorialize friends and family, and I hope you enjoy this website as much as I have over the years. Just a word of caution; duplicates here are strongly discouraged, so please be careful to do a name search before adding memorials. I've check your entries above, and they are all duplicates of one previously entered. This causes problems for researchers, as well as hard feelings on behalf of original creators who put a lot of time and effort into creation. If you find someone has already been entered, and you have more information or corrections, please use the Edit button in the upper right corner to advise the original creator of this information. They are more than happy to make corrections. You may add photos and flowers to the original memorial yourself. Again, welcome to Find A Grave. There are a lot of wonderful people here. And thank you for helping to keep Find A Grave clutter-free of duplicates for future generations.
