RE: Rachel Turner Smith
You're very welcome. If you want me to remove it, because there is no date, I will. I'm guessing no one will have a death date put on it because it's been so long. She may have been the last in the family to pass away.

RE: Landes Family
Yeah, I'm curious about the second wife. But in 1880 Mary was still living at home, so I think Daniel was her first marriage. I haven't found much else on her. But damn...twins were pretty strong on that side of the family!

Here are sons of Daniel Wise and Eliza Landes I found today:

Zebulon Harrison Wise (# 12759895)

George Marion Wise (# 101335868)

Grant Wise (# 94230215)

Landes Family
Hi Carol,

I've had a break through I guess you could say with the Landes family. I've managed to find Eliza's twin sister Cynthia (# 120383056), her father Martin (# 67515636), brother Abraham (# 67425415), brother Martin Jr. (# 148746343)

I know you deal mostly with the Wise family, but figured you should know since you manage Eliza's page.

Hi Carol - Thanks for reaching out, but the only Hoth I've ever encountered is the Ice Planet in Star Wars. Sorry. - Lorraine

You are welcome. I will try to get better pictures of Orin and Mary's stone. I didn't have any cleaning equipment with me today. The other Mary I could not find. But will keep looking. Also will get your other request in a few days.

Reguarding your photo I kinda blundered upon it,I'm glad I found it.

I completed the Effie McIver and the Margaret Wright photo requests. Ms Wright is next to Margaret Skidmore and Ms McIver is one row east. It may be the same lot, but for some reason my guy at the cemetery never answered with her exact location. When I get it I will update the caption on the photo to reflect the lot and space.

thanks Carol. Alot of people don't like that, but I think its important to personalize the memorials as much as possible.

Ira and Caroline Dutton Weed

I uploaded photos for this couple, as well as a statue of three lambs that I believe marks the graves of their three infant daughters.

There were others with markers buried in this plot so I created memorials for them and uploaded photos.

Julia G. Weed 1809 1903 (I believe she is a sister to Ira Weed and also Amanda Weed Buckbee, who is buried elsewhere in the cemetery).

Caroline S. Weed 1834 1925

Carolyn Weed Norton 1859 1915.

I am not sure who the last two ladies are and I don't think either of them died in Michigan because I could not find a record. Julia Weed, however, died in Illinois while living with a nephew, one of the children of Ira and Caroline.

Hope this helps.

Hi Carol,

Do you have any information on Florence Wise? She's the daughter of Daniel Webster Wise. Her son, John C. Howell jr., is my great grandfather.
