I can see in this case where it would be best not to list the children. Usually the children I list are aged to a point where there is no risk of them living. Good point. thank you

RE: Clair H Sykes
Please know that I always extensively research to find the Find A Grave memorial as I want to link family members whenever possible. However when I cannot find what their maiden name is or where they are buried, I ask to have a note added. I'm hoping that someday when more information is available, someone or myself will see it and pick back up on the research. There is no point of not providing the information on the Find A Grave memorial when the research has already been done. Volunteers across the country that I've worked with do not have a problem doing this, with one exception. I have also seen notes posted all the time. Posting this information as a note helps everyone.

Some volunteers even elect to copy/paste census and other documents right into the bio or post it as a photo .... I prefer to enter it.

Hi, I connected the parents to George Ohleyer.

I'm connected through his wife (Anna Dowell). I was in Sutter at the time and did as many graves as I knew at that time. If you are connected through other Ohleyers, I would be more that glad to transfer his memorial over to you. Let me know.

Do you have more info on Clarice Ohleyer Riedel? I'm looking for her obit.

ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

Yes, we do have copies and acess to the Marysville City Cemetery maps as my daughter is a member of the cemetery commission. They are for the public to view at Marysville City Hall. At times they are helpful in locating grave sites, other times not so much as plots are listed under the name of the person who bought them, then several families are buried there with different names, newer updates were never made after the mid 1920's. This is an Historic cemetery, burials as early as 1850 to 1940 are recored, but the early records of 1850-1870 have been lost. Most burials took place up until the mid 1920's, a newer Cemetery opened in the 1920's just south of Marysville in Olivehurst, called Sierra View Memorial Park, Yuba Co.
Due to the fact that the Burial Book is so old, my daughter did scan it and has it on the computer, so we were able to do a quick search, there is no member of the Pease family in our cemetery listed in the burial book.
So sorry we weren't able to assist in your search other than to tell you that they must be buried somewhere else. Good luck!

I have a picture of her, probably taken in 1926 or 1927. She graduated with my Uncle Jim Bargen and I am trying to return pictures to family members. A problem is I don't know which one is her. If you could help I would greatly appreciate it + I would then send the picture to you. I have also left a message on Kelly Pease's profile page. You may email me at peggyduey@yahoo.com. thanks!!! ~Peggy A. (Bargen) Duey, Nelson, Nebraska

Hi Judith, thanks so much for the correction. I fixed Aunt Gertie's record. If you would like to transfer Uncle Fred to me, I will maintain him. Here's the link to Aunt Gertie's record:

You can delete the one you created. I really appreciate your help! Happy Thanksgiving!

Judy, his mother's memorial is #111897387. I probably didn't copy it correctly, but it's still there.

As long as you are willing to make connections etc., I don't need to have them transferred. But if you would rather transfer, I'm happy to accept them. They are distant relatives. I'll let you decide.

Thanks for your efforts to make them complete so far. I appreciate it very much.

Hi Judy. I also took a photo of the headstone for John and Lydia Runyan but it came out too dark. I will be returning to the cemetery today to take another photo. The weather is much better for photos!
