I just found the memorial you posted in the Aten cemetery. I believe this is probably my second cousin, once removed, a baby girl, daughter of Alvah & Sarah Everton, born sometime in 1892 and died 13 Aug 1892. Since you seem to be in or near Cedar Co., I am asking for your help.
My second gr-grandmother, Matilda Staples Everton, supposedly died in Aten and is buried there. My cousin wrote a book about the Everton family, in which she says "Matilda died at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Edna Emerson, near Aten, Nebraska 29 Nov 1903. Her 95 years of earthly life were concluded by causes due to age. Burial was in Riverview cemetery in Aten, Nebraska." She also wrote that fifty years later the Cedar County newspaper in "50 years ago column" records:
"Grandma Everton, the oldest inhabitant of Knox County died at residence of daughter Mrs. Milton Emerson, on Sunday....deceased was born in England in 1809 and was thus 94 years when the delayed visit of the grim reaper took place."
In a trip that area in 1999 (I live in Washington state), we tried in vain to find the Riverview cemetery and/or the newspaper article. We searched and talked with people in Cedar county and Knox county, with no success.
My plea -- can you give me any guidance as to where I might find the information I'm seeking?

Several years ago my husband and I found where his Great Grandfather was buried. We had a bunch of relatives meet us in Sioux City and follow us to Norris so we could show them.(Sort of like a reunion in a cemetery) We went to the Pizza hut in
Hartington for supper and they were so very gracious to us. When I was introduced to this site I put his Great Grandfather Pritchett on this site. He was the 4th. one to be on there and someone else put the 5th. on. Today I was showing a friend the site I go to Norris and I see 50 on there. Thank you so very much.It is such a respectable site. Because of my addition, 3 people found us that are relation, maybe 3rd cousin or so. I have been thanked for putting his genealogy on for others to read. They likely did not have obits. at that time so did the best I could.
