Thank you so very much for getting a photo of the East Coast Memorial for those lost/killed at sea during WWII. It brought my dad to tears to see his cousin's name on the memorial. It was only a couple weeks ago I found out exactly how Billy had died during WWII- and shared the information with my father. We're both very grateful you took the time to get the brought some closure to what has seemed to be a 70 year old mystery.

Richard Kendall

Thank you so much for taking the picture of Richard's name. He was from my town and I have been reading about him. It is nice to be able to see a tribute to him since he was lost at sea and body never recovered.

Thanks again!

Drew, I added another of our Washington County, TN lads to the wall, George Wayne Persinger. Would it be possible to take a shot of his name when you go on your next treasure hunt to find William Cannon. Have a great week and stay cool up there. Allen

William Aaron Serby

Thanks so much for photographing William Serby's name on the WWII memorial wall. He was a relative of mine who was an only child and had no descendents, so I try to remember him.

RE: Taking you up on it
Drew, I am going to take you up on your offer to photo the grave of Seth Smith, husband of Elizabeth Eldredge Smith. Would love it. I live in Chatham, just down the road from you. I am also a genealogist/researcher for my family, and although my branch of the Rowlands do not go back to the Mayflower, I was able to research us sufficiently that the DAR let me, my mother, and my sister in a few years back. We should have lunch somewhere, sometime.

Thank you
ew, thank you so much for finding the grave of Elizabeth Smith (1745-1803) in the Winthrop Cemetery in Provincetown. She is the ancestress of my cousin Leslie, who is the daughter of my mother's half brother. Leslie and I share a common Rowland grandfather, but different grandmothers. Elizabeth Smith is Leslie's ancestress through her mother's side of the family. We are trying to get her into THE MAYFLOWER COMPACT SOCIETY. Many, many thanks!
